I enjoyed Barbie more than Oppenheimer. While Oppenheimer is still good it's run time hurt my enjoyment of it. It also didn't help that there were at least 30 minutes of previews.

I agree with all of this. I liked Oppenheimer, but didn't love it by any means. Also it really may have been the most previews I've seen in front of a movie.

1I can deny it a lot of the time no problem, but it seems to be hinting that denying it may be what's building up into the bigger blow-ups? Sometimes there are saves too. The time I lost a companion to the Urge wasn't directly. I killed someone else because of the urge, and then instead of hiding it I came clean and a companion tried to kill me for it, so I had to kill them instead But it's still kind of a mystery to me (in and out of character).





2I was still being reasonable at the torture guy and convinced him to let me take over, so he just left and then I saved the guy. I don't actually remember at what moment it became a goblin genocide. I think I managed to have conversations that started peacefully with all three people you're supposed to kill. Oh right, one of them has a war horn or a drum or something nearby to alert everyone like an alarm and I didn't realize it, so one of their little goblin buddies got to it. It was the last one, I think the hobgoblin guy area. I had actually already killed the other two (again, not intending to pick fights but did anyway) before I ever had a quest asking me to


3---5 is a big level for everyone getting a lot stronger if you're sticking with a single class for everyone.

1 Sounds fun to have on... will do it for run #2 and that alone says a lot about the game. I NEVER play games twice. I may play and walk away and not finish and come back time again to finish, but never finish stop replay. But I want to do other things and have other spells and not be walking on eggshells the entire time. I died about 3 times legitimately and there just wasn't any way around it. I was more focused on the nightsong, that green / or blue / csweet sword (that cool sword you get from the stone in underdark) and the minotaur and not invisible eye bastards =P

2. Same. Surprised I rolled high, that was a high roll for some reason, but I have all the deception buffs (but still it was high!) like 15 I think needed on the roll. I'll keep my eyes open for the moment it turns to a massacre! yes... i see those war drums, not good... not good at all

3. Cannot wait... 4 was important but, party is still on the weak side...

yeah it's definitely the most interested I am in playing again in a long long time. Different classes, different decisions, etc.

Yeah most of the pure weapon attack classes get a 2nd attack at lvl 5, and spellcasters get level 3 spells which are just super strong, and really the first big AoE spells like fireball or spirit guardians.

2. You.... killed..... it? haha... I couldn't dream of it. I DID actually try to get back IN TO the temple and have the selunas tesla coil style protection zap it to oblivion, yet that only works when it is by the steps, much much too far to skate a fairly sizeable skirmish across a chasm =P

I thought I'd wander over as use the basilisk oil on one of the petrification peoples, boy did that backfire. BUT got a cool weapon out of that UD section, Sword in the stone... forget the name..
3. Anyone who dash's is up to no good !! Even when I dash I'm up to no good *and charging my lightning points** NEVER LET ANYONE WHO DASHES LIVE!!! I just sliced down gobbo children because they wererunning to tell everyone else about us saving haslin and I chased after him with everything in the arsenal haha....runners = bad... as bad as badcan get besides YELLERS... reinforcements in this game is a tragic turn in battle haha....
4. I have no AOE on anyone... not even my archer with an arrow spray or even an overwatch style attack. I need aoe and I was just thinking about it last play... thinking this room is so perfect for aoe spells and I have nothing.... I'm almost simple melee squad outside of buffs and berserk... two melee and two ranged archers (one with buff spells and spells to use in worst case scenario / strong fight)

Id say act two was a bit less than 1. I’m right at 50 hours now. But I have no idea about 3, or exactly how many acts there are even

@Ogrezilla I finished the second Zoey Ashe book earlier this week. I'm not sure which I liked more so far but I guess that means they're on the same level of enjoyment. Hopefully the PGH library gets it soon. If not maybe I'd be able to donate one of my Audible credits to you.

Also, the end of act 2 is really wild. Act two also had some parts that could have gone very differently. Honestly it had one part I expected to go very differently. There was a big decision that mostly involved one of the companions and you have all the choices of help them, convince them this or that etc, but also the “stand back and watch” option. I figured this one was their call to make and they did not do what I expected, though they did what I wanted so that worked out.

Then there’s kind of a little mini event that transitions between act 2 and 3 and it is really wild. And based on who you have in your party and who I have killed from my friends, I expect your version to be even more ridiculous

You're not kidding level 5 is way better than 2-4 Double shots! Add in worm powers 'all in my brain' it is becoming more and more structured in fights and now know what to do / expect. I'm going full tilt after those gnolls and hyneas attacking the cave people. Pshhhh... only level 4s =P

Yeah she had the gear that none of the other two goblin boss had. hint hint,,, companion!
So I basically traded Haslin for a companion... that of which Haslin is not a companion am I correct? Hmmph... Also, not sure why I saved a grove full of ignorant thieving children *which I helped thieve hah* and power hungry druids and scared complaining tieflings.... pahhh.... I should have wiped them all out.

My ranger finally has an aoe (that I chose to actually pick) and it's thorns that cover a wide area and do 1d8 (or close to that) for every 1.5m walked through it. So... standing purely at the center would be 6m to exit, --- yes I did the math on this one haha, maximum minimum middle... ok I wont get into it.... but its worth it =]

Anyway , about Starfield... PCGamer gave it a 75.... I was expecting 80-90.

Whoa, what did I step into? I’m beyond hyped to see EK let it rip with Sid, Malkin and Letang. However, I find this discussion about the SW saga even more compelling.

I’m not going to go into the prequels more than that Jar Jar should have died at birth, but for all the Disney stuff, it’s a mixed bag. They killed the canon and made anyone feeling like a jedi a jedi, like mckdojos’s handing out black belts for expertise in a martial art without participation to classes.

I’m still happy that the saga (franchise) lives on and still delivers random moments of wonder. The same goes for Erik Karlsson who is a true jedi, and the 23-24 season is the return of him, for real!

OH MAN... I went to save the carriers at level 5 -after- the gob camp and they were no longer resisting gnoll advances. Silence. Blood. A cackle... hyenas were inside the cave.... not as satisfying or rewarding... I demolished them. Now to turn the treasure over under wyleens rest (name?) party in emerald grove... go after (i think the green) hag in the south lands of act I ....

**i wonder if it is possible to worm brain all 20 or so slots... I think my character has blood all over her face from the brain worms... and that fool volvo digging an ice pick into her eye socket

I think I bit off more than I can chew with the green hag questline... though it is pretty wild. Her little house of oddities. I proudly found my way into the fireplace AND through the wooden human door... after fighting with myself and party after hag took me over
I've not died, but I spent a quick rest and long rest (after I drank the well water) and had to knock out my main and bring her back (and get the mask off)... I don't want to spoil much if you did or did not do it or did it another way etc etc... But I had to end there for the day *about to fight her four or so other masked (and controlled) minions... that of which I plan to knock them out and hopefully help me tackle her haha... wow what a cool questline type thing.... *the history flash backs of the paladins and the people asking her for help (and subsequently got helped.... horrifically). What a game...
Also, got super slick blue gear from the zerrikanians or whoever black market traders *helping return the shipment* .... yes I returned it, since it's wizard supplies supposedly and I don't use a wizzy... and thankfully it was a bow, for my main, which virtually strikes bane every single hit... wicked. Also got a bow that utilizes STR attribute, and a crossbow that virtually casts SHUDDER every single hit... I'm getting good gear and I like it. Also have lae'zel decked out in 'charge' gear... she dashes once and gets charges to deal damage and also when hit deal lightning damage... love the gear!

Act 3 has so much stuff so densely together in a city, it's kind of overwhelming I played like 3 hours today and only had one fight at the very end. I guess I'm getting friendlier

You can definitely (for me at least) at least attempt to not fight every dialog... I started sneak-shot approaching all enemies with a sight cone in sneak mode because I was sick of them having the jump on me in combat (I'm ranged... well... a ranger =P) so I started picking off the REDCAPS and then saw 'temporarily hostile' and thought,,, what??? they'd speak to me ??? Eh.... it'd probably end in fight anyways, but up the ugly road in the bog is the astarian hunter (SO HE SAYS) and that could have been a fight too haha... I chose to play nice and not wipe him out - I have no idea why either... that can only come back to get me - ...

Yeah they want it UNOPENED... they make it very apparent from the beginning... the middle... and the end of the quest... haha... you saw what it was!! I'm super curious, but will wait =]

ACT III !? I am excited for the City... but I'm enjoying stretching my legs in the woods so far... man I play so slow.... act i to act iii

Well both people with the chest were dead, so I had no idea it was even a part of another quest. I thought it was over and I basically failed it since they died, with the chest as my backup prize.

Also I swear I'm not trying to fight in these dialogues, they just don't like what I have to say My group is pretty in-your-face, so I don't mind being jumped up close I respecced Shadowheart to Tempest Cleric so she has heavy armor, I respecced Wyll to 2 levels of Paladin and then the rest Warlock, so he also has heavy armor, and I'm a barbarian. It's just poor Gale who ends up in trouble sometimes

Yeah I've played like 58 hours or something now of actual saved time. Not sure on your play time, but you have a ways to go to catch up certainly The real fun will be to see if I lap you with a second playhtrough
