No I meant I get why they actually priced that game higher, but it just hasn’t manifested that way on the secondary market yet.
Based off the STH buyback pricing, the Devils have badly misjudged demand for a few games this year. The Friday back to back after the home opener was a higher tier game and you couldn't give that one away. The game after the home opener is usually the worst draw of the season so I was surprised they didn't see that coming.

Tonight is one of the highest tier games and the secondary market has absolutely cratered. A late start on a December Wednesday and = no thanks, Boston be damned.

If you're just looking for a cheap single ticket to get in the door, you'll always get a few people dumping single tickets the day of as the game gets closer. That said, what price are you hoping it gets to? I can't see it going below $45.

The first post Christmas game is always in demand, probably only just behind Opening Night and the Ranger games, lots of college students home for the holidays.
I'm sort of hoping I could get a decent ticket somewhere with a side view for around $100. I could just bite the bullet now based on what I see. I bypassed on the black friday deals they had hoping to find a better deal as the game got closer but so far I'm not seeing it on the secondary market.

I know the 200 level is pretty attainable in that range but I've been holding out hoping to come across something closer. i this will only be my 3rd time at the Prudential Center so I just don't want to get stuck in a bad seat.

Doesn't say a price so what are we guessing? $10? Lol

I'll be shocked if it's less than $15, because it's a special item after all!

On a sidenote, I get to go down for the pre-game high-five tunnell for Tuesday's game as a thank you for funds raised for the Running with the Devils 5k. Anyone ever done that before? Figure it's a neat little thing to be offered that I've never gotten the opportunity to do before.

Yeah it’s something that I think is more of an experience for little kids. Always feels weird as a grown adult older than most of the players to stand behind a barrier and fist bump them.

Definitely a cool experience to just stand in the back and watch the pregame routine before the guys head out onto the ice though.

Essentially how I'm treating it as well. Wish I could bring my son to experience it but he's still a bit too young for it to work out. Hope it'll happen again another time to give him that experience as he gets older.

Went to the game tonight I go maybe one or twice a year. One thing that hit me they need to add some type of seating in the concourse. I get you bring the food back to the seat but man I saw two kids eating on the floor. Maybe getting older I see these things I dunno but concourse def felt crammed too are other arenas as jammed packed?

When I was in the club food sections the other night I was thinking the same thing, they have standing tables but there's absolutely not enough seating. It wouldn't look as "classy" per say but I'd rather see like a German beer hall seating style of long tables so more people can sit and eat.

yes i get space is limited thats why i was curious if other arenas concourses are small or is prudential on the bigger side? but still there should be a way to get some seats there even if you just wanted to get a drink and chill outside the seats at any point.

side note

i do like where they put the team store on the concourse tucked it into the corner actually doesn't look out of place.

So I bought tix for the Rutgers bball game on the 23rd off TickPick. Got the tickets and looked at them and at the top it says "M Lounge by BMW"

WTH is that? Did I just get some sort of lounge access without noticing it?

Yes, you have access to a club (sometimes referred to as the "bunker") under Section 8. All you can eat food and free soft drinks/water. There are a couple cash bars down there as well.

You can enter through VIP West and they'll escort you through the hallways under the arena, which is pretty cool. It won't be this way for Rutgers, but for Devils games they'll literally walk you through the refs warming up and past the entrance to the Devils locker room.

If you enter through a regular arena entrance, just walk down to the bottom of Section 8 and the entrance to the M Lounge is next to the penalty box (for hockey games).

Do you get to throw things at the refs and call them names? Asking for a friend.

I had always wondered if they do the clubs and stuff for other games at the arena (Seton Hall, etc). Not that they weren't open but whether they had the free food...I guess the answer is yes? Not that I'm running to get club seats for college basketball, but good to know if it is. I wasn't sure if it was an arena thing or a team thing.

I'll have to judge again when I'm at the game next week. I know the upper concourse at Natiowide Arena is pretty limited with some standup tables. Lower concourse is more open but sit down seating is very limited. We have a new Wild Turkey bar area that has some open seating and a small amount of sit down seating that overlooks the practice rink on the opposite side of the lower level.

I've only been to the Prudential Center 2 times before but I know there were a lot of design aspects in Nationwide that influenced the building of the Prudential Center.

Alright question. Looking for 3 tickets for the game against Vegas the end of January. My little guy is a Vegas fan (not sure why either, guess I messed up raising him) so looking to sit there. Been STH in the past so know the deal with the lower level. Have a line on Suite tickets either Suite 117 or Suite 202. Are these standing room only suites or doe they come with assigned seats? Could care less about the food (mainly because dog food tastes better than what they are serving there now), but just want to make sure the little guy has a seat there if we pull the trigger on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I believe the suites have both assigned seats and standing room (in which case, there's stools by the ledge you can use).

I picked up last minute tickets for a playoff game in the suites - thought the "ST" on the ticket stood for "suite" but it actually meant "standing" which my son and I learned right before opening faceoff.

If you have seats, they should be marked on the tickets with a row & seat number - definitely want to grab seats for your lil' one.

Can't blame the kid for rooting for Vegas. I mean those Gold Buckets over their melons sure look pretty cool!

For the game on Saturday the team was selling section 212 for $119 a ticket and they recently dynamically priced them down now to $109. You can snag a resale seat in that section for somewhere in the $40's right now. Saturday is probably the most mispriced game of the season by the front office.

If you want fans to buy early they need to feel like they're getting a deal and not squeezed for every penny, fans will wait and their interest in attending the event will dwindle. No one was ever going to pay over $100 a seat for a regular season non Rangers game to sit in the 200 level....

i can't believe that there are that many fans who aren't traveling from out of state who buy tickets so early and this goes for any sport.
