For shoot twice balcony I paid average $40 per seat per game. Thats 44 total games including preseason. So around $3500 for two seats. But I was locked into the same price the last few years. I think it will be $45 a seat for me next season.

Gets me $58 per game first round tickets so its worth it if you can pay the monthly plan. Also. I made money off my resales this season. I couldn’t make it to the first Rags game and sold that for $205 per seat LOL. Also other gms I couldn’t make it to I was selling for $50-$120 a seat.

They also give you around 6 games to “buy back “ which gets pushed to next season if you want to renew. I always choose the first month weeknight shit games against bad opponents on those.

IF we are up 3-0 and tickets crater, I can’t resist going.

Thats not too bad with resales. Are they doing priority for this year's playoffs if you sign up?

I'm sure they are but you might be out of luck for the first round depending on what exact seats you want.

Like there might be seats available for every other round that aren't available for the 1st round now.

I figured round 1 is toast unless we go up 3-1 and Rags fans dump game 5 tickets whole sale.

I'll take cheaper round 2 and 3 tickets if possible.

There are no longer any "standard tickets" available for Game 1 (only "Verified resale").

So did the Devils "sell them" to themselves? Lets them drop prices dramatically overnight? and announce a sellout?

Can't imagine they sold all of their inventory, especially since (last time I had looked) there were resales that were lower than the standard pricing.

Strange. ...

This used to happen for the Saints. If there were 5k tickets left some local benefactor would buy them and distribute them to needy schools to reward good students.

Every blue dot disappeared at once while I was looking at them. Earlier this evening I was getting text offers from them to buy discounted tickets, but not nearly discounted enough. Cheapest tickets were row 8 in 226 for $209 each total, no fees.

They rather not sell them then sell them under $200

Does anyone have experience using the PATH from WTC to Newark Penn? It appears to be cheaper than NJ Transit and has similar schedules. My buddy and I are getting into the city a little early and I'm just curious if it's an option if we wanted to bar hop into lower manhattan. I've only ever taken NJ Transit from Penn to Penn.

I prefer PATH. NJ Transit always gets stuck in the goddamn tunnel. I got stuck in there for hours last summer, it was terrifying. The few times I go in and out of the city, I take the PATH in and out. If you are going to Manhattan then it is 100% the fastest way. World Trade Station is also beautiful.

It's cheap and runs quite frequently. When I lived in Hudson County I usually took the PATH into Newark as opposed to NJ transit or driving.

Depends where in Manhattan you're trying to go. If going midtown, NJ Transit is more reliable and a few minutes quicker (for $3 more). If going further downtown, PATH will definitely get you to where you want to go quicker.

If you're near/at the Oculus (WTC), no reason at all to go uptown to get to NY-Penn to catch NJ Transit. You should 100% take the PATH.

I am thinking that some of those "resales" are, in fact, the Devils selling their own inventory. There are entire rows available in some sections. I suppose it's possible that everyone in that row bought and are looking to resell ... but seems unlikely.

Thanks for the info! I used to live in the East Village when I was in college and wanted to visit some old haunts before/after the game. It's pretty much in the middle of both train stations, but I've never been to the WTC station and want to check that out.

I would bet money that is what is happening. Ticketmaster and Metallica were already caught doing the same thing. The latest weird music industry scheme: artists scalping their own tickets.

I wonder how this hasn't turned into a bigger legal dispute for TM. The lobbying budget of the entertainment industry must be up there with tobacco and alcohol.

There are at least 50 listings of 6 or more tickets. Since sths could only purchase up to four additional at pre-sale, I would be that every one of those listings are the Devils ... plus a large chunk of the 4+ listings, and all of the restaurant and loft listings ... and maybe a few others

they pulled them yesterday morning and started making phone calls. I got a call yesterday about tickets being available. $150 for 100's. I said no thanks. Offer was good for 4 tix to games 1 & 2. There is obscene number of tickets available. Devils & STH's completely misjudged desire to pay for Rd1.

I got a phone call yesterday. Balcony for $150. couldve had 4 for game 1 & game 2. Said they were reaching out to past STH's with an opportunity to share in the team's current success.

The sths who bought additional four-round strips can still come out way ahead (as additional strips for balconies were under $80). I would have thought those folks would drop their prices dramatically. Strange they haven't (unless the listing are their original seats, and they will go if they can't make the profit they were hoping for).

Regardless, the Devils should realize that made a big mistake offering full sths the ability to become brokers ... especially since they screwed other plan holders in doing so

If they called me as a former sth (they comped me seats the the final home game), at $150 each I may have taken them up in it. Thanks though for not and me not having to make that decision lol.

Now that I think about it, I asked the guy 5 questions about season tickets and I've heard nothing since.

Earlier in the season I signed up for this thing that was on the Devils website where they would text you for last minute ticket deals. This only popped up a few times during the season, but it popped up again for me yesterday.

It offered me seats in Section 226 for $209 each no fees. I have to imagine this is one of the ways the unsold inventory is being dumped.

This is the thing: Sign up with your mobile phone number and we’ll text you when tickets are available.

they messed up big time letting sth set the market for the general onsale and not having any discounted tickets for partial plan holders. if they’re selling them to older sth or through tm verified resale for a lower price now that’s a huge slap in the face to all the partial plan holders, almost unconscionable if it’s true

Probably, but those large blocks of "resale" tickets are almost certainly the Devils, as well.

I am afraid to ask - did any partial season ticket holders get these offers? They should have been the first calls, given how they were treated up to this point.

It's so bad that it seems impossible to be true. I mean, who is known for running a customer-friendly, fair organization more than a couple of PE guys?
