If I am reading this thread correctly.

Devils STH already bought out all of the seats that were going to go on the sale to the general public for round one?

I doubt all were sold but it's unclear how many were held back for public sale. (The way you worded this is also kinda odd.. its not like STH stole tickets from anyone if they were offered the option to buy them from the team..)

Im a 14 year STH lmao. You assuming that I was implying STH’s “stole” (your word) tickets is whats odd. I was simply asking if I was following the thread correctly. Geez. I haven’t been following this because I paid for my seats for the playoffs and did not need or look into getting more seats. So I haven’t been following what was going on.

Sorry, your post was just worded odd and implied STH bought tickets that were intended for another purpose.

I missed the STH presale so went through my rep who was able to get us 2 additional tickets in the 120s.. but she told us then and again recently that there was a very limited supply left and mostly in the 200s. How true is that? Who knows since most of the STH reps don't really know what they're talking about...

I can explain this one. Resale onsale is when tickets are allowed to be re-sold on TM the red dots you see on the map.

Yea, I asked because I didn't know how anyone was getting tickets already. Found out through this thread that it's because STH were offered seats already. Which makes no sense according to this, because then what the hell is STH Presale if they already have the chance to buy?

Those are individual games, season ticket holders were offered to buy additional full 16 game strips.

Forget implying. I’m outright saying you steal tickets by offering to pay for them. You should be ashamed of yourself.

So many tickets on-sale right now....

Last night on the FAN Ranger fans were talking about how fun it is to go to Jersey (while at the same time saying they didnt really want to go all the way out to Jersey).

I'm going to take heat here but I think the team has handled playoff sales well. I'll explain below.

1. They rewarded their season ticket holders with the chance to purchase strips. If those people help get fans in or resell them doesn't really matter to me. It's a thank you for buying in early especially for buying during the bad years.

2. They've acknowledged plenty of times they use dynamic pricing (every team in north america does) so they were obviously going to lift single game ticket prices for a possible Rangers series.

3. There are still playoff tickets left but they're holding back seats to pair with a package (season or partial) for next season. I don't mind the team holding back those seats for new customers as long as they commit to purchasing for next year. If those seats don't get claimed they'll be released onto ticketmaster before the game date anyway.

4. The whole "keep the blue out" campaign only really worked for game 6 in 2012 since we had a chance to clinch. Win our games early in the series and it will keep rival fans out later in the series.

Go Devils!

Haven't missed a home playoff game in 29 years, have a plan, and still haven't heard anything. I also signed up for that newsletter as a backup as well. I try to call my rep and it goes straight to voicemail for a different extension. Tremendous job they're doing.

It seems tied to my email and they assigned people to different time blocks
Thanks for the info.

For those who don't think ranger fans will buy tickets next week, they are charging $300 per ticket pre fees for the 400 level for round 1 at msg.

I still have not received any emails for the presale but for some reason I don't get any emails from the Devils anymore. Anyway I found out my time slot and my rep will provide me with my code once it's generated. Apparently the lowest price tickets will be around $250 for the first round. Only the first round games are going on sale Monday and if we advance, we get to do this all over again for each round. I was also told they have a decent amount of tickets left so apparently it's just them trying to milk every cent out of us since they've had two home playoff games in a decade.

$250 for upper level? That's just about msg pricing for round 1. Rangers want $300 per ticket for the 400 level.

I hope they over take Carolina so prices will come down and I can maybe go to a game lol.

interesting that it's $250 after fees tonight for the worst seats at the Garden...

Hey, quick question. Im an out-of-towner. Looks like I'll be working at JFK airport April 17-18. So Im going Air Train from T5 (TWA Hotel)-->LIRR from Jamaica-->Penn Station--->NJT to Newark, correct?
How much time should I allocate for that trip? 90 minutes?

At minimum 90. JFK->Penn can be 90 on a bad day and then you need 30mins to get from Penn to the Rock.

Id just take 2 hours for the trip and eat at the arena if youre a bit early. Im a big advocate of Rock's chicken tendies and fries
