It all depends on the opponent, how many people, and whether they're competitive or not.How much does the cheapest upper bowl ticket (i assume upper is the cheapest) cost per game?
I wholeheartedly agree with this post if a few hundred extra bucks doesn't matter much.Yeah I mean if that's the route you want to go, I am fairly confident that they have offered a half-season plan in the past. And it may come with some added benefits as well. If I was you, I would wait until plans are announced and then submit a form on the site to speak with a ticket rep. Just flat out ask them what they can do to "sweeten the pot" for you to sign on and you can probably get something out of it given how badly they want to make sales.
I do also personally enjoy having the same seat to every game since I like the people around me and like my view (section 101). I know sometimes a sales rep will take you on a tour of the building so you can pick your seat on the spot, so push for that too if you're able to do it before the season starts.
Haha, i need to create a new email account and redo my approach but alright, if on average a ticket is 25 bucks, i make 30 of the home games in the first half, its 300 bucks or so cheaper to buy the one-off tickets. A tough one, really. I think i'll just ask them to show me around when i arrive in september and take it on from there.I wholeheartedly agree with this post if a few hundred extra bucks doesn't matter much.
Always ask for a food and beverage card.
Also, the benefits to having a rep are you'll occasionally get bumped up to better sections if you ask.
Always ask for everything with those people.
If you don't live here don't make them aware of that. Make up whatever you have to as to why you can't purchase the second half. They'll be more amenable to hooking you up if they think they'll get more sales out of you for years to come.
If you're going to make it to 30 games buy the cheapest full plan, haggle for bennies, and just sell the rest.Haha, i need to create a new email account and redo my approach but alright, if on average a ticket is 25 bucks, i make 30 of the home games in the first half, its 300 bucks or so cheaper to buy the one-off tickets. Doors open at 10. Game at 11.Anyone know what time the scrimmage is tomorrow? Or when door open?
When do single game tickets go on sale this year? My son and I are making a tradition of schlepping up to Jersey for it.
Either Dougie likes boxing or he’s really going all in to promote the Rock lol
Is there something wrong with my browser or did Ticketmaster remove the ability to zoom in to see a specific seating chart of what's available?
LOL! Just checked out the Prudential Center Pledge.

Well, at least the Devils are trying creative ways to attract new ST holders. They have a promotion for $69 upper level and $99 lower level seats. Each ticket comes with a $20 food and beverage credit. Picked up a pair in 133 for the home opener (that's all that available for that game). Of course, in addition to CC info, I had to provide e-mail address and phone (which they already have 10 times over). I can't wait for the opener. The expected phone calls, not so much.
PSA: No Ranger or Islander regular season games in this promo.
Hi,
I'm from Finland and was planning to go on vaccation to metro area with my wife. One off the main reason for the trip is to see a few Devils games We were planning to come in late March since it my 40y birthday.
So, I was looking possible to book hotel or airbnb apartment in Newark a few block radius from Prudential Center. Then I saw few reviews that Newark is not that safe to walk around and it got me thinking if it would be better to stay at NY side and use the PATH to come see the games..?
Thanks for the tip. I found nice airbnb in Jersey City and that might be one possible option, though I haven't made any reservation yet. But right now it would be either hotel in lower Manhattan or airbnb in Jersey City / Hoboken.Hello! I love that you are traveling from Finland to see a few Devils games. You'll have a great time. Hopefully the Devils are in a playoff spot because the arena atmosphere will be amazing if so.
The area around Prudential Center (called "downtown") isn't dangerous, especially during the day and during events. Newark does have some dangerous areas but it's a large city and those areas are far from the downtown/arena district. At worst, I would say that you don't want to walk around from midnight to sunrise. You will see some homeless people, who may ask for money, but I have spent many hours in that area on game days and non-game days, and never had an issue. There are a lot of businesses and police in that area so they keep it safe. It's mainly just people working and shopping. Just north of the arena is Military Park, which is a great place to walk around for a bit. Even if you don't stay in Newark, I would recommend getting to Newark a bit early one of the game days and walking around a bit. There's also a part of Newark called The Ironbound (east of the train station) that is a very good community with amazing restaurants. In general, if you need restaurant recommendations, let us know!
That said, I would recommend that you stay in either Hoboken or Jersey City (closer to the Hudson River). These areas are really nice! They are full of great bars and restaurants, plus you have incredible views of NYC and you can stroll up the river. Just south of this area is Liberty State Park, which is a great place to walk around. Staying there also allows you to easily take the PATH train west to Newark for games or east into NYC to explore the city.
