If I cancel my ticket plan, the unbearable loudness at the arena will be a major factor. I can’t believe I am saying that, but if you go to many games a year, it’s really a dissatisfier. It might be much worse downstairs?

Have you messaged your rep about the sound? They won't do anything about it if people aren't letting them know about it.

It wasn’t AS awful Friday as it was Monday, for some reason they want to jack up the volume more, the fewer people there are

Give us something good to watch and we'll make the noise. 11,000 Devils fans make more noise than most of those full buildings in Canada. I'm old school play more stuff from the organist.

Just a PSA to fans at devils games being kind.
I was at the devils vs golden knights game sitting in the balcony as part of my full STH package
Towards the end of the 2nd period a fan behind me dropped his beer and some of it spilled on my jersey. I got up and and started to move down 4 seats.
Then I hear the fan say don’t move it’s fine.
When I heard that comment my extinct said better go home.
As I got to the stairs he said in a sarcastic way at least it didn’t get on your mask and smiled.
For me I go to games to see hockey and try to relax for a few hours. The last thing I need is drama with a fan. I spoke to my rep about the situation and he is sorry for my inconvenience.
For me it just seems my fan experience at the arena keeps on going down hill each year.
If anyone wants one free ticket to the Montreal game on Thursday just send me a private message. Enjoy your holidays

The team makes it hard enough to shlep to the Rock, don't let this asshole get to you. God willing, our team/government puts a Vax mandate into effect and that douche can stay home.

At least you didn't have a guy puke all over you like the only game I went to this year so far.

The guy in front of me was absolutely hammered before puck drop, passed out 5 minutes into the first, and puked all over himself and the guy in front of him before the first period ended. f***ing gross.

Just an fyi since it definitely could have been used here in a few scenarios but the arena has a texting service for this very reason, they respond rather quickly and security will come to the section and handle things.

I've only ever had to use it one time since the arena opened because someone was drunk to the point that they were a danger to others around them a bunch of rows behind me and I'm not there to act as a bouncer but security came and handled it quickly.

From the website...

"Prudential Center provides guests with an in-game texting service, allowing guests to text issues to Prudential Center Management anonymously and discretely without having to leave the comfort of their seats. Guests may text 507.PC.GUEST (507.724.8378) and a team member will respond accordingly. Standard data fees and text messaging rates may apply based on your plan with your mobile phone carrier."

Devils got to play Bernier, Blackwood, and some scrubs this year. So a mix of goaltending.

Same system. 6th most goals against allowed at 5 on 5.

For me, for the reasons I’ve listed, I think the goalies could play better but they’re getting scapegoated a bit for being put in a difficult situation where the system puts them in tough spots more frequently than most goalies.

I can't see myself attending another game this year unless by some miracle they make the playoffs.

I had a similar situation at the arena a few weeks ago. A guy came and sat behind me about 1/2 way through the second period. He almost immediately started screaming f*** Joe Biden with no provocation, no one joining him in the yelling, and no friends with him.

I turned around and politely said something to the effect of hey, we're all here to watch hockey, please leave politics out of this.

His response? It's OK, I'm Canadian so you don't have to worry about my vote. So I asked again, just please leave politics out of the arena.

He settled down for about 5 minutes. And by settled down I mean just started yelling for every devils player to "drop the gloves you p***y" any time there was any sort of contact.

After those five minutes were up? "f*** Trudeau!" Clap clap clap clap clap. Rinse and repeat.

I moved a few seats down initially but ended up deciding it just wasn't worth listening to him or asking an usher to relocate me and left.

I've been to hundreds of Devils games and was a season ticket holder for five years. Maybe I'm getting old but I just don't recall the consistent and persistent amount of trash humans I've been seeing at these games. And not just this season, I'm going back to at least 18/19.

Does anyone in this group sit in or near section 107? There’s a crazy lady

who shrieks the entire game, except when she’s not saying f this f you f that. She also listens to and participates in other peoples conversations. She’s a single seat sth and most of the people around are sth too. Usually by the end of the first period everyone around her has moved to other seats. Beginning to wonder if it’s worth going anymore to have to listen to her Shriek all night, watch bad hockey, and move to other seats.

Definitely, another season of sth taking a beating on the resell market. The new consignor the team is using to sell tickets isn't better than the old one.

Scan rates are down, can't even move seats for $6 anymore.

went to the game last night first one in a few years with my daughter. wow parking is $35! i'm sure there are lots blocks away that are cheaper and stuff but dang that is just a rip off! it actually costs more to park my car then go to the game lol. i'm sure people have already complained about that.

good size crowd given a lot of pens fans there too but i was surprised. weird with such a large crowd they didnt have all the stands open where i was seated section 14. why did they close the team stores except the make shift one towards the front?

i tried to see if music was too loud like mentioned before on here but i didnt notice it being too terrible. i noticed too they turned off a lot of the wall mounted videos those need to be replaced anyway.

they still cant seem to figure out a quicker/better way to get people into the doors faster eh?

I went to the Red Wings and Lions games in Detroit this past weekend and they both also had slow entry. The metal detectors have definitely slowed the entry process way down, but I also think it makes complete sense to have them and ensure no one is bringing in dangerous objects. So not much you can do there.

But one thing that I definitely believe slows down the entry process is the mobile ticketing. I'm constantly stuck behind people trying to unlock their phones, find the ticket app, access their account, and pull up the tickets. And now they use dynamic barcodes so it's not even like you can screenshot the tickets and keep them in your photos. Adding them to your Wallet (on iPhone) would help but I'm not sure everyone does that. At least with paper tickets, you just pulled them out of your pocket and got quickly scanned. I also hate how they claim mobile ticketing is for safety due to COVID, as if paper tickets spread germs.. You can hold up a paper ticket to a scanner just like you can hold up your phone. It's the same thing. We all know mobile ticketing is just a way for teams to control the ticket resale so they get a cut.

i think the biggest problem is they just dont have enough entry points. when you think about it they are cramming in theory on a sell out 18000 people in through what 4 entry points? i'm not counting the single door at the box office. you have the two towers the one small one by the practice rink and the parking garage.

BTW it kind of sucks we have to wait until late March for a Rangers home game, it's really gonna be MSG 2.0 by that point. Since I didn't go to any of the faux home games last year and they had their Ranger home games early in 2019-20, my last Ranger home game was in November of 2019, the pre-Hynes firing game. My next one will probably be late in 2022 or early 2023 at this rate since there's no way I'm going to an MSG 2.0 game if the Devils are 20 points out of a playoff spot by then.

thats the problem with playing out of conference 2x. i'm not a sth but maybe those that are can give me their thoughts. would you rather scrap the out of conference games and just stick to in conference schedule? i already know that people will say they enjoy seeing every team 1x but outside of that?

I personally don't care what they do with the schedule but if you get rid of the western conference games you'll still end up with more games vs teams nobody cares about, Florida, Carolina, Tampa, etc etc etc. Sure you'll have a nice boost with a few more Rangers games but overall it won't make much of a difference plus the prices can come down with there being more available games. Flyers fans don't travel as much as they use to either, Islanders fans actually travel more nowadays but with them getting a proper arena this year and them sucking I doubt they show up in droves either since they usually only come out of the wood work when the team is good.
