LOL, it’s stupid - especially when there’s only one way of getting in and out of the middle seats the next section over. I guess I shouldn’t have expected it from the giveaway tickets but it’s still pretty arbitrary to have seats not in the clubs have access while seats in them don’t.

Personally I wish they would just condense the clubs to sections 18/19/20. A lot of the club seats are always empty cause of people eating and the rest are empty cause it's overpriced.

At least this would keep them off TV with sections 7/8/9 now not being clubs you would have more people in the seats actually watching the game. Better atmosphere and looks all around.

How utterly stupid, section 7 is a club section but I’m not allowed in and I’m in like row 11. I thought the 7-9 sections were automatic clubs?

Hi, they made the change a few years back. Rules are below.

The Devils sometimes add in club access for non club seats if you're a STH upgrading too.

Club seat access:
Section 7 & 9 (Rows GL1 to 5): The newly designed private clubs invite guests to experience a lively atmosphere with the best sight lines. You’ll receive luxury seating, access to the newly renovated clubs and an all-inclusive gourmet buffet. Rows 6 and above: No club access.

Section 18 & 20 (Rows GL1 to 8): The newly designed private clubs invite guests to experience a lively atmosphere with the best sight lines. You’ll receive luxury seating, access to the newly renovated clubs and an all-inclusive gourmet buffet. Rows 9 and above: No club access

Section 8 & 19 (all rows) The newly designed private clubs invite guests to experience a lively atmosphere with the best sight lines. You’ll receive luxury seating, access to the newly renovated clubs and an all-inclusive gourmet buffet.

Any reviews on the new garage on green street for parking? How is it getting out after games?

I have not used it but I do walk by it. Last game it looked pretty back up with people trying to exit.

2 games ago they did shut the street down so that the only traffic on it was from the garage but the past game the street wasn’t shut down.

There also appeared to be a small backup when entering.

If they keep that street shutdown after the game I bet the wait isn’t too bad.

All,

Fundraising Auction: Devils Suite

Apologies if this is the wrong spot for this. A close friend passed away 2 weeks ago leaving 4 boys. The oldest 3 lost their father 8 years ago. Just unfathomable. As part of a silent auction we are doing to raise $$$ for her sons, the Devils generously donated a suite for us to auction off. We are located in CT, 10 miles east of Hartford. We haven't gotten much interest from our area. If anyone knows people who could have interest, please pass the link below along.

If this is the wrong spot for this please have a mod move or delete.

Thanks for reading this far.

If anyone else has pre-paid parking passes for lots 7-8, did the team switch you to the Green St parking garage starting with tonight’s game?

I’ve been told the switch is due to disagreements with the lot operators, which seems possible as parking over there has been changed every game this year, but I wanted to see if others are having this switch too. Thanks.

I have a friend who was in Sec 7, Row 22 the other night and he had club access. So maybe they have changed things.

LOL maybe those particular seats were grandfathered in, I didn’t even bother checking the other night and I was in Section 9, Row 9…and maybe it just depends what usher you get, I’m sure the whole row 5, row 8 nonsense isn’t exactly uniformly enforced

Some upgrades this year are getting seats in non traditional club sections and they're just labeling the ticket as "club" so they can get in.

Pregame vs Minny we were coming up Mulberry and it completely gridlocked. I didn't put it together but was this because of the parking changes? Maybe.

We wound up parking just off of Orchard, and when we were leaving it was oddly traffic free. Was this because the traffic was all stuck trying to leave the garage? Again, maybe.

But I was wondering what they are doing at the Mulberry parking lot. At least half of it was fenced off and not in use. Building something I assume/hope.

Got an extra single ticket for tonight’s game, SJ vs NJ. Section 104, Row 9. Friend hooked me up and I’ll be behind the bench instead so you’ll sit alone. $25 (what I paid).
Anyone interested, DM me.

Selling two tickets to the 01/22 game against Carolina.

Suite Section S201. Seats 4-5.

Asking $125 for the pair. DM if interested.

Forgot to ask who thought it was a great idea to put the white signs on every single seat? Besides it looking awful on TV cause you could see how empty it was my tree loving hippie side hates how much waste that all costed for absolutely no reason.

Data: New Jersey Devils ranked worst for fan experience

Can't say I actually disagree when you are talking about merch, concessions and face value on Ticketmaster. I've been filling out every single survey I get that concessions and merch are too high and that I won't spend a dime on concessions until they adopt fan friendly concession pricing.

In terms of Newark safety I've never had an issue.

This article says Vegas is #2 worse which seems absurd considering how much their atmosphere gets praise but this doesn't seem to consider atmosphere in their ratings. Islanders at #3 makes no sense with their new building and how much their fans have said its fantastic but again doesn't seem to consider that either.

The distance from city center shit is stupid for all teams but especially with the "least accessible" nonsense for the Islanders when everyone out there mainly drives to games anyway. Plus they are adding transportation too.

Yeah I saw this this morning, this is an awful system to judge fan experience haha. The fact we play in Newark probably puts our index down a ton since this takes in the safety of the city which is ridiculous. Also, I don’t get why they put in the price of beer or food since its all relative. I get paid $12, 000 more in my company in NJ than the same job at the same company in Florida. We get paid in NJ more than the majority of the country so it’s mostly all relative to what we are paying.

This index system is not a good one.

“Least expensive hat” to judge fan experience

They literally have Calgary and Ottawa in the top three when we all know they are brutal, especially the location for Ottawa, and the arena for Calgary.

Can someone please tell me why in the hell arena entertainment thinks it's a good idea to jack up the decibels on the music to 'deafen your ears level' during pregame warmups? Really at any point it's stupid but it stood out today even more, I don't get the point of it especially when there were like five people in the building a half hour before the game lol

Concessions? Get fans out of their seats and onto the concourse and vending areas? Just a guess. :naughty:

Still doesn't compare to MSG. Sounds like a JBL convention over there. Great acoustics for sure.

Ticket no longer available from me.

Exchange program helped lure me into this mistake!
