Draisaitl has never been fast, he relies heavily on McDavid drawing defenders to him creating odd man chances or open ice

He's been just fine in his career playing away from McDavid. Everyone's play gets elevated playing with Connor because he's the best player in the world and that's what they do. I think people are looking at tonights game and forgetting that's it back to back as well.
