He's been just fine in his career playing away from McDavid. Everyone's play gets elevated playing with Connor because he's the best player in the world and that's what they do. I think people are looking at tonights game and forgetting that's it back to back as well.

He hovers around a ppg player without McDavid, which is a stark difference from where he is with him. He also looked terrible yesterday against Arizona
