It is funny becasue I haven't liked Kane's game this season.. that was his 24th.

It’s funny how there’s such a focus on production when it comes to comparing players across the league but when you actually watch guys every game sometimes it’s just not indicative of who they are for better or worse. Like, Boeser has had a good year, but I wouldn’t value him like most 40 goal scorers. And I think Garland has been similarly valuable.

Hronek had a massive advantage to get that puck before Carrick, that was almost a 70/30 advantage he had to lose that puck and result in that goal. Very weak will on Hronek there.

Those are the plays that happen with him a bit more than you’d like for the cap hit he’s probably going to want.

Similar.. if I looked that up and saw Kane had 8 goals it would feel right.lol

Can't explain it... I probably have a bias against him.lol

Not that complex, we can all see how he plays ;)
Who’s “we”? You see what you want to see. You just want to push your “product of McDavid” agenda so you’ll downplay anything he does to remove cognitive bias

Sure, tell that to the others who also agree. At some point it becomes reality whether you want to admit it or not. Draisaitl just isn’t as good without McDavid. Still a good player, but more of a 90ish point player

90-100 pts is still a good player 🤷

Vancouver is a beautiful city, but also one of the most expensive places in Canada to live. A lot of people are choosing to move elsewhere so they can actually afford to raise a family, and then they just go somewhere nice on vacation a few times of year with the money they wouldn't otherwise have living there.

I'm not going to argue that Regina is a better place than Edmonton or Vancouver ;)
It all really depends on what YOU want and how YOU want to live.

Out of high school you’ll likely make 60-70k in BC
Out of high school you’ll likely make 110k+ in Alberta, albeit you’ll have to work like a dog for it.

Every province has its perks

Absolutely true and understandable that people are having to do that. It’s brutally expensive.

It’s definitely not true that you’ll “likely make” $110K in Alberta. No chance that is the average income there.
