And the average ice time over the course of a season, that I provided, contradicts your statement he was playing 22 minutes a game on average.

Point is, MacDermid brings toughness and intensity that the team has been missing since Greene. If you don't want to agree, that's fine, but your information you used to defend your stance and criticize MacDermid was not accurate.

People have been down on Toffoli for a few years now. The piling on him isn't sudden. The frustration with his play has merit.

Before the Blake goal, Lizotte created a lot of pressure that disrupted the Ducks zone entry. Killed off about 15 seconds of the powerplay. I like the subtle things he is bringing to the table.

even at 17 mins a game its still more then 7 mins more then mac avg I dont think mac will ever have any game even that high He is good for toughness but i dont see him taking a regular shift. He is bad defensively. PLayng him make other defenseman play more mins then he should Greene could play a regular shift I looked at the last 20 plus game and it looked like he was playing more min The last 20 games showed that greene was taking a regualr shift by the end of that season Mac will never play that many mins and if he does i hope its against the kings as he will be a minus in that game.

Whomever has him can only hope he returns to a second line scorer. He's had reduced responsibilities and easier minutes since Carter came back from injury.

He's better today, but there's a legit Bobby Ryan feel to him.

He's not doomed and he doesn't suck, but for someone who constantly criticizes Kopitar demand more of himself, you're awfully defensive of a player who contributes a lot less with a lot less responsibility.
