i'm not signaling you out, but this has now become the new psyche of the NYR fan.
The NYR were riducled for years for "buying the cup" in 94" and getting any player they wanted with money.
Now they rebuild and that's not working so all the first, second, sixth, ninth, etc round picks are busts?
Really? What's left then?
They tried a cup run on the heels of an All-World goaltender, and that almost worked. Do they plan on doing that again with Shesterkin? Is that a winning hockey plan?
This organization as whole, thinks they're the smartest guys in the room, and they keep failing.
A miracle run last season is showing this team for a fluke!
The veteran players on the NYR are not the right guys to lead a youth program.
Kreider is a net front specialist, and speed streak scorer and nothing else.
Panarin is a boutique offensive specialist that needs tailor made linemates to excel.
Zabinajad is a gifted offensive player, but in his head too much.
Fox is getting worn down.
The players above are essential components of a winning team, but they are not leaders. They're ancillary players.
Rangers need a "Brady Tkachuk" type of player... a central figure(s).
You need these types in the top 6/bottom 6 and on defense.
At this point I don't care who they trade. I just want to see a plan executed with thought, and have it adhered to from the top down.
