As a Canucks fan, I can feel your pain. I always thought Raffi got the short end of the stick because opposing players are making themselves vulnerable. Everytime Raffi throws a "Borderline" hit, his elbow is always tucked in and doesn't leave his feet. It always seems like he's leaving his feet, but it's always after the hit is delivered which is natural. He's just a really strong hitter and it's not his fault that other players can't take a hit. I feel that culture of hockey when it comes to taking hits is totally wrong now. Not enough onus is put on the puck carrier to keep their head up and be aware of where they are on the ice. Heck it seems like nobody can take a big clean hit without starting a fight. How is this considered more severe than Chris Kelly's blatant elbow? So stupid
