This just proves my point that once again the NHL is trying to dictate who goes to the finals to maximize hype and money. NHL is becoming more like NASCAR every day

 There is something of a RALLYING CALL for the troops to win the series with such a biased judgement.

A 5 or 6 game decision would have been bad but a "remainder of the series" judgement makes me think, okay boys, let's go win the series and welcome Torres back next round! :yo:

Let's win it for the Torres! See you in the conference finals Raffi. ***** the league.

Just watched the video. Complete BS. So much he says is just out and out untrue. A complete appeasement to the Kings for Stoll being taken out.

I was really hoping the Sharks would resign him, but now Im not so sure. He will be too afraid to hit anyone, rendering him near useless.

Raffi Torres is Ben Eager, we'll be better off without him.

Pretty much, don't want to I told you so too much, but even if you don't blame him for that hit too much (It wasn't as bad as a lot of others) he's still got a reputation that has now seriously hurt this team.

Why aren't we getting hard numbers? I didn't think suspension length could be variable. So if the Sharks win 4 straight (not saying I think this will happen), would we have him back for Game 1 of the WCF?

Because this is a clear cut case of scapegoating.

How so? He wouldn't even ****ing be here otherwise to get us where we are. We didn't lose any depth. You're still just hating on him to hate on him.

So, NO. You didn't tell us so.

"while we agree that Torres might make initial contact with the shoulder, that is a glancing blow. And in fact, the head is the principle point of contact." Shanny's quote from his explanation video.

Wow. That is the biggest steaming pile of **** I have ever heard. Unbelievable.

Thats BS.

If Stoll doesnt play the rest of the series I suppose thats a good trade off.

Watching the NHL response video, they say the shoulder hit was a glancing blow, and not principal point of contact. Then when they circle the head and call it principal point of contact, the head is not even hitting Torres yet, and THEN when it does, it hits Torres in his back. CLEARLY in the video.

poor argument considering that for him to hurt the team he wouldve needed to perform in such a way to be relied upon. which he had.

If Stoll doesnt straighten himself out right before the hit, Raffi hits him square in the shoulder. I really cant believe that hit was worthy of a suspension.

Now I feel like the dance off is tainted as well

That video is a joke. haha. With how dramatic Shanny made everything in the video sound, I thought he would have given him a 20 gamer or something.

They have to justify it somehow.
