4 points in 18 games and skates in molasses. I love Artie but you can find that kind of contribution from some ECHL guy. They should be able to upgrade on him pretty easily. With such a need for bodies at forward, why was Arty released from PTO?

I’m musing here but besides the points it’s quite likely that Artem wasn’t setting up an example for the kids there expected out of NHL vet at this level. He’s gotten old, earned many millions to not worry about making another buck and he just couldn’t muster energy to go through games and probably more importantly practices. Can’t fault him for that but also can’t fault the organization for wanting to go the “other way”.4 points in 18 games and skates in molasses. If that's the case, then why is he accepting a PTO to play in the AHL? Even if he doesn't want to play in the KHL, he can likely find a job in Sweden or Finland. If he wants to keep playing hockey and absolutely wants to stay in the US, then I would be expecting him to give it his all. There's no reason for him to ride buses in the AHL for minimal pay and then just dog it.I’m musing here but besides the points it’s quite likely that Artem wasn’t setting up an example for the kids there expected out of NHL vet at this level. I think the more likely thing is that he just can't keep up anymore, which is a shame, but it happens. Maybe he should consider coaching if he wants to stay around the game.
Hillis w a 2nd ‘i’Cam Hills did not play well last night.
Cam Hills did not play well last night.
Hillis is backHillis w a 2nd ‘i’ ... But if he played poorly, maybe we never see him again …
Wonder which one is getting traded?Berard with his 18th on the PP to make it 2-0 Pack. Sykora had a goal earlier, but it was waved off supposedly because the ref blew the whistle before it went in.
Neither.Wonder which one is getting traded?
Your boy's turnover just resulted in a goalFrom my view, Scanlin is ready. Left-handed shot who plays both sides. Has size, strength and an accurate shot.
Signed for two more years.
You're right about that. I want him to get a call up so we can see what he can do at this level. If only people saw Berard the last month or so and what a progression in his development he's made not on person would be including him in any trades especially for a rental. This is exactly the type of player a coach and FANS will love.
The left side is pretty crowded. He has play the off-wing.What’s it going to take for Berard to get a look?
I think his elusiveness and play on the wall could help the Zib line. The left side is pretty crowded. He has play the off-wing.
He drives play so I don’t see a fit with the Rangers unless Panarin needs rest.
Don’t believe it will do him harm to finish the season and playoffs with Hartford.
