Just my gut feeling, but, if need arises, I don't think either is recalled ahead of Nash, Belzile, Lesch, Blidh or even maybe Othmann

Very glad they're contributing early, but they're still barely 10 games into NA pro careers..
Yeah, you right. But out of those guys the only ones I thought should ever see NHL ice this year were Belzile and Blidh.

Sorry. I hit the wrong link.

Jones would have to clear waivers and because he would be claimed and the Rangers don't want to lose him he will not be sent down. More likely he eventually will be traded.

I guess he was just scratched when he didn't play? Can they call someone else up?

For tonight's game against Bridgeport:

Garand starts with Lindbolm as the backup. With a 3 game weekend Lindbolm might play tomorrow.

On defense Mackey back in with Harpur week to week and Berzolla and Cairns as healthy scratches.

Up front we have Offman-Brodzinski-Belzille, Edstrom- Nash-Barard, Sykora-Lescheschyn-Blidh, Henriksson-Krocazk-Rempe.

Elson and Trivigno (I think for 4th time) are healthy scratches.

Would love to know the Knoblaugh and Trivigno relationship?

Yeah there's clearly something wrong there. Maybe not with their relationship specifically but just with Trivigno in general. I'm not proclaiming him a star, but he's too talented to be used the way he is without there being more to the story. On talent alone I think he'd be a solid top six AHL player on many teams.

He seems like a candidate to be swapped for a guy in a similar position.

Trivigno definitely does not lack effort.

3-0 Hartford after 2.

Sykora with a very strong forecheck wins the puck and comes out in front. His shot is stopped but the puck lays in the crease with Blidh putting it home. Very good play by Sykora.

Berard brings the puck in and loses it but he steals the puck from the defenseman and throws it on net. The goalie stops the shot but leaves the rebound that Nash standing alone in front puts in. Strong forecheck by Berard.

The final goal Scanlin clears the puck up the boards. The Islander defenseman blocks but does not control the puck. Nash steals it and come in on a semi breakaway. His wrist shot beats the goalie.

Two injuries to report:
Jake Leschyshyn was hit along the boards and did not return.
Defenseman Mac Holloway out for the game when he was low bridged and was knocked unconscious and had to be helped off the ice.
3-0 Pack with 7:45 left in the 3rd.
Goals by Nash (2) and Blidh.

Can someone describe Garand's game?
As @bl02 stated already, Garand needs more time. Benoit Allaire standards are higher than what most would call NHL ready.
From a layman’s opinion his tracking is not quite what would be expected from a Benoit Allaire trained goalie.
Barring injuries, I don’t see a future where Garand does not become a NHL pro.
