lol talk about not being superstitious. Wolfpack color guy just spent 20 seconds explaining how important it is for Bridgeport to at least get a goal and not get shut out. never seen that before

(probably only 10 seconds but still)

Kravtsov was moved down to the 3rd line for tonight, playing with Jones and Beleskey

We'll see what the PP lines look like tonight when they get one

Down 2-0 early in this one.

Not much Shesterkin could do on both. 1st was a bad bounce off the boards and the 2nd was a bad turnover by Hajek behind the net. Hajek still looks like he did in the NHL. Lots of issues with his game at the moment.

Raddysh gets one on a bad angle and a horrible goal for Berube to give up. Broken play on a slot pass that went into the corner

Now 2-2 after Berube misplay a puck behind the net.

Gropp in front wide open for the goal after Berube compounded his mistake by chipping it past his defender.

Berube has been so bad that they just pulled him in this tie game for Alex Lyons.

Obviously he's still very young but Hajek has shown me nothing to indicate why he was so heavily targeted by the Ranger brass.

He has a lot of tools. His skating is very good and can be physical.

He struggles with the puck on his stick a lot, and I've noticed he's still getting run over by dudes when making plays.

Something has to click in mentally at some point. He's still playing like he would in juniors, where getting run like that doesn't happen from time to time.

Not sure he ever should have made the team this season. He looks like a guy that needs more than a year in the AHL from now. Needs to work on his puck skills and being more aware out there, which comes with reps.

Eh.

He's big, skates smoothly, and I think he does well with the puck on his stick...if he has a bit of time. If he's run physically and pressured, that's when he tends to make mistakes. And yeah for some reason he is kind of bad at protecting himself from big hits.

He was the better looking LD to make it out of camp, and as you say has a lot of tools, but you're hoping it can come together for him a bit as he still looks raw out there. He does a lot of things real well but you keep kind of waiitng for the next "rookie mistakes"

Not much action in the 2nd, but Gropp draws a tripping penalty.

2nd unit starting, so not sure if they've changed the top unit

Gropp scores his 2nd on a play from Dmowski to free him up in the middle and Gropp ripped it over the blocker.

The pack's 3rd goal. Shesterkin throwing some sauce up the ice leading to the goal

I forgot who tweeted it, but I saw that pass from multiple angles. The angle from behind the net was even more amazing. What a pass. As much as I love Hank, he looks like he is trying to bat away a grenade whenever he tries to handle the puck. This is going to be fun to watch over the years.

Yeah, it's very impressive.

In fact, he just went for a goal with an empty net, but it got blocked at center ice

Howden and Hajek both need to learn how to take a hit or avoid the hit. They are both going to have CTE by 25.

Howden is like a cat with 9 lives dodging serious injuries with some of the hits he has taken.

Sure hope so, I think Rykov can provide the same stomp-yo-ass attitude Lindgren has.
Man I don't know, Rykov is strong and physical, but not in that way where he goes out there looking to crunch people. And I don't really think he's particularly nasty. He had 36 PIM in 3 KHL seasons and has 4 in 21 AHL games this year. Not really his style. He'll battle in front and in the corners and throw an opportunistic body check, but that's basically it.
