Did some googling and in the year 2016 he made ~$35-40k

Worth noting that half of that year he was in Allsvenskan with AIK and that had he stayed in Färjestad this season he was due a big raise… My guess is he comes in at somewhere around $15k a month now, maybe more since it's kind of a short term contract.

More if he goes to NLA/KHL

Yeah. Definitely more than his AHL salary. I think he goes to the KHL because if he wanted to go back to Färjestad, the Rangers could have loaned him to them without contract termination

Georgiev officially sent down this morning. Team has an 11am game. Wonder if they just did that on paper and he was ready yesterday. I’m assuming so. Prob will play today then come right back up is my guess.
Yeah Hartford has a bunch of games coming up in a short period. He's down to get in a few games, like the last time we made this transaction.

On Lindqvist, I though he did okay in Hartford. He wasn't a difference-maker but was still a good player.

My concerns with him coming over was that he was a PP-specialist who seemed to rely on open space and time. In the North American game, on smaller rinks, with the biggest, fastest, strongest players, you don't have that time and space. You think you have it but then a guy closes out in two huge strides and that one-timer you were looking to crank is right into the shins.

He was a worthwhile risk, however. I'm glad we signed him. Meskanen I feel is a more complete player and is more suited to the NA style of game. He can make his own space with his strength, and seems to think a tick faster than Lindqvist. That's probably why Meskanen got two years.

That kid just turned 23 couple weeks ago. Skates well good size righty shot. Figuring out the smaller rink. Seems committed to being a part of this organization. There’s no way he can be worse than Lettieri.

Beleskey is DEFINITELY better than Mcleod

Georgiev is rusty... no surprise though. 2 dumb penalties lead to 2 PP goals by Bridgeport. fashion models would kill for a thigh gap that was a large as the gap control the Pack dmen keep from attackers... crazy.

Rusty and the slower pace definitely rough on a goalie when timing is so important. Not surprised he’s struggling a bit.

Gilmour with a huge game, 2 goals (both shots from the Point with lots of traffic) and the primary assist on the OT Winner... He was noticeable in transition all game too…

Overall i just half-watched the game because it was a terrible game and Packs camera guy still hasn't figured out the zoom function on these new cameras so it's kinda tough to Watch.

Georgiev with a nightmare 1st period was solid after, that's like all i really have because i watched unfocused haha... Well, Meskanen is scary good on the forecheck.

Heck of a job by georgiev. Got rocked in the first period but adjusted got comfortable and shut out Bridgeport the remaining 2nd 3rd and OT to get the W. Great great job that’s very tough to do.

Agreed and Meskanen is faster, too.

St. Amant could be a late bloomer. Killing it in the E and actually made the Hartford roster after their training camp. Might be worth to keep an eye out for him the rest of the way.

For people who watch regularly, how do Lindgren and Hajek look?
I've only seen about a third of the games. They both look like works in progress. Lindgren is pretty solid in his coverages, plays physical, is good in the corners and is good at getting the puck out. He hasn't shown much in transition or much willingness to join the rush. He's not going to be a big offensive producer, but I think he can be like a Mike Sauer-type when all is said and done.

Hajek looks generally good. He looks kind of nervous at times handling the puck to me. Defensively he's usually pretty good, makes smart plays, doesn't make many glaring mistakes.

For AHL rookies they both look quite good to me. Neither are ready yet, but they seem to be coming along fine. Again, however, this is based on like five games and a few scattered periods, so others who watch regularly may have different opinions.

Appreciate the insights!
