Player Discussion Had Pettersson Regressed?

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

I thought he looked better last game. He set up Podz with a brilliant back hand blind pass that should have been a goal if not for a brilliant save.

Also he was stick handling and getting by players finally. Small steps, but it was encouraging. His shot is still MIA but we'll see tonight what he does.

His shot is more or less being covered extremely well. He won't get a look unless the PP does something other than play the 1-3-1 and stand still.

A nice shot but his 2 other points were a secondary assist on the Miller one T and an assist on an empty net goal.

Baby steps...

As if there was any doubt that he will recover.

2 power play points and an empty net point. It’s better than nothing. I hope this gives him back some much needed confidence to get things going at least to the 2020 level of play.

Exactly we need to see a run of good play some building blocks back to progression of an elite player not just a very good one.

Need that effort and success every night from him if he wants to be the #1 on this team.

Why did it take this long for the powerplay to move around? Immediate results. Thank frickin goodness.
They chose to be entertaining.

Players are purposefully choosing whether to try or not.

When they try. The hockey becomes entertaining and fans are happy and owner makes money.

When they don’t. Miller starts throwing fits and spazzes out.

Someone tweet petey that in the 21st century professional hockey players workout in the summer and show up with a high standard of conditioning

During the off-season I wanted EP to get the longer-term deal and not Hughes. He looks awful. Does he want Green fired this badly or is it an injury, something else? If I remember correctly he looked a bit off at times last year.
