You do know that the style players play can affect their effectivness as a trio? Danault, Shaw and Byron are playing the same kind of game (north-south). Galchenyuk play a Radulov/Kane (east-west) kind of game. Is it that hard to grasp?
Why do you keep bringing something that happened in the past?
Watch the games! Chucky is just not helping his cause.

Play him at a position he's more comfortable and successful with, since we know LW isn't his strength. Play him with players he's had success with, or at least ones who are more creative, and keep him with them when there's improvement. It isn't rocket science Belial, it's just sensible.
Hemsky is a highly skilled player. He is the shadow of his former self, but still the second most talented player on this team behind Drouin...
He may be more talented, but he isn't a better center. I think you can even debate that Galchenyuk isn't even a better player overall than him. Would I trade him for him ? No i wouldn't because Galchenyuk is more valuable and has more potential. Now if I had one game to play and i could choose either one of them i would take Filppula and maybe even on the course of a season he would be my choice but long term Galchenyuk is still the obvious choice. Talent wise i think no one can deny it, but there's no way that Galchenyuk is better center if you think he is you didn't understand the role that a center has to play in this league.
Do you know why Josi-Subban were not jelling as a pairing? Not because they weren't trying, but because they don't compliment each other. Same here with Galchenyuk.. I'm sure he would work with Drouin.

Even you can't be ridiculous enough to refuse to admit that Galchenyuk is playing at his weakest forward position with two players who play a north-south style of game while he thrives in an east-west environment. I'm not saying that Galchenyuk shouldn't be putting more effort in, but there's no reason for him not to have started the preseason as a 2nd line center.
