Feel bad for Primeau he was having a good game

Anderson is not capitalizing when he gets every opportunity possible, and Gallagher is just not the guy he used to be. That's two games in a row he takes a stupid penalty later in the 3rd period, and too many times I've noticed him just standing there and not skating to keep up with the play.

Sorry but the penalty against calgary was a phantom call.

I do feel bad for Primeau he kept the team in it.

I was kind of hoping we lose. I want the higher pick and force Habs to sell at deadline. I hate thought of hanging just outside playoff spot and staying pat at deadline.

But Habs were in game until final few minutes. Losing by a goal against defending champs. Bad game but some bright spots.

Gallagher should sit out a game. Send a message. I am going to be watching see how Marty handles this?

Caufield been quiet last few games. He's our star, needs to get going. Put him back with Suzuki or with Monahan.

Ylonen with two goals needs to play up in lineup. Give him a long look on top lines. Breakup the surgical line, it has stalled.

Ylonen with 7:22 ice time...baffling to me why he doesn't have the trust of this coaching staff.

Primeau was very good. He made several highlight reel saves.

I don t get the anti Ylonen stance of MSL he obviously has better hands & shot than Anderson, Gallagher, Pearson, Slafkovsky. He has good skating allowing him to steal pucks…

Well at least I hope they see the special teams are not working. Being so passive on the PK is a golden opportunity for Eichel or Theodore to get a wrister past a screener goalie. On the theodore goal the two forwards are in front of him but none manage to block a shot.

The PP is a real joke. Caufield is worrying, can t pay a player 8m for him only to score 3v3 goals.

Caufield who doesn't play with Suzuki or Monahan as center is pure insanity, your best scorer/sniper with the 3rd center who doesn't even play in pp it's just brutal. Why is it only in Montreal that we see this? Matheson 28+ minutes tonight again ( Hughes was his agent and it shows,team photo next to Hughes with the A on his jersey.This guy should be top 4 at best on a middle team with pp2.He is 29, top points career was last season with 34 and MSL play him as our first D with first PP/PK come on... Ghule not playing in pp, Anderson *the beast* who hits anyone, 0 goal with first pp geez no, look what Barbashev did to Xhekaj, that's exactly what Anderson should do. I'm starting to lose faith in MSL and believe me guys, I'm really a fan. Sad for Primeau,what a first he had but man all the grade A chance against him tonight. Despite giving up 6 goals, Primeau played very well because we were outplayed by a much better team. Our D must have been dizzy after this game because of all the times they spun in circles watching Vegas zip by them with skating and passing. The game was like a pp for Vegas, complete domination and an easy win.

I would love to see Ylonen get moved up with Suzuki on Saturday, the kid deserves a shot with better linemates and just demote Anderson to the bottom line, he is looking like a guy heading to waivers because he can't produce at the NHL level anymore, no sense in wasting more time on him.

Missed the game. Just checked the game sheet and saw Xhekaj had only 10 minutes ice time but managed to finish with a +3 ?

Listen I know Gallagher is the villain here but if you scroll down ever so slightly and mosey on over into the tank thread, you'll find Gallagher is our hero.

The ultimate irony is that Gally probably hates tanking more than anyone else on the team. He wants to win at all costs, but doesn't have what it takes anymore to elevate to that level in every game.

I actually think all that "IQ" work with Anderson is making him worst.

You can't change ones nature. The guy is a destrier. Just put the blinders on and tell him which direction to charge at.

I remember when people were getting all giddy with Anderson in his first season with us, calling him Powerhorse and throwing flowers at the clown's feet.

I remember telling people that a horse wears blinders. Oh I got shut down back then.
