When your 4th line is your best line.......

Evans was good, Pezz was brilliant in his role.

Put Tanner Pearson's shot on the PP.

Send the special teams coaches to a homeless shelter for a week to make them realise how f'ing disgusting it is that they continue to steal a living.

And I didn't realise just how much wankery exists in that Wild team.

This is great though. A few key injuries will help people digest another tank season.

Btw this was such easy money tonight. Wild were awful in Toronto so you had bounce back effort, Fleury's last game here and Each injury. Not a single chance in hell Hans were winning this one.
The Habs need offensive talent up front badly. I like Slafkovsky but I don’t think it would be good for him to be the guy the team relies on for points. Eiserman or Celebrini would be a boost.

Fair. I disagree & think that RB will look like a steal at 5 and Slaf will grow into the unicorn he was drafted to be....

Plus I think 2 of Hutson, Engstrom, Konyushkov & one of the goalies from this year will end up being clear first round talents from their draft years...

Time will tell

I've been wishing for picks to work out for 20+ years on this forum, it just never happens. Cole was an accident, a blessing... and then a ton of hot garbage up front and on the blueline. You cannot miss on your first overall pick, you just can't. We seem to miss 99% of the time

Ça sent le nouveau tank. I have a feeling the GM is not going to stand pat this year. Don’t think they want to finish bottom 5.
That actually concerns me…. moving from a positon of weakness / lack of leverage

I like our group better than the Hawks or Flyers as well, but yes, we are near the bottom as far as today talent... Especially if Suzuki doesn't pick it up, our goalies continue to be league worst and Savard keeps playing like a 6-7 dman
When Savard plays on the 1st pairing you have very little talent. Habs will have a brutal season. I am glad I am a hockey fan and enjoy watching other teams. I enjoy watching Laval too. This Habs team won't take up my season.

If it’s any consolation the Athletic still has Slaf as a first overall and adds Hutson and Beck as first rounders in a redraft.

I liked gooning it up tonight. A good 2 fight night for Pezz. Xhekaj bullying people and one dared do anything. He's building his rep game by game lol

Yeah the kids who are supposed to get be better and get good are injured or are not doing well.

We are losing and the kid mostly sucks , shits boring
All the more reason to finish lower in the standings and draft better talent. You should be ecstatic!!!!

(Almost) worth it for the Pezz show and having some folks look at me oddly for shouting out things like "pull the bloody trigger!", "take him to the boards" and "go on Pezz, f**k him up!!" at football hooligan volume without a trace of a local accent ;-)

Terrible game all around.
It really looked like a soccer team skating on ice for the first time.

When we thought the powerplay could not get any worse there is a game like this to prove us wrong. It's not bad it's something that can not be described by an adjective that has been invented yet. May I suggest "burrowsesque" ?

-To be honest the Wild played a great game though. 2 man forecheck and high pressure on the puck handler continues to work very well against Montreal.

-What is going on with Matheson ? He was pretty good last season imo.

-Oh my god the indiscipline is unreal

-The worst forward (other than Gally) after 3 games is Suzuki. Holy shit he's not playing well.

-I would send down Slaf right now and call up Roy or even Armia.

-Fire Burrows already...please.

-it could have been a 10-2 loss . Many posts and some good saves by Monty.

-Barometer game. The rebuild has only started and may even need another reset.

If this was ea sports I would just sim until next season and start fresh with a healthy team and a good draft pick

I honestly f***ing hate you guys for cheering for injuries to our best young players 3 games into the season. Dach and Guhle are way more important to this team
