Before Pearson's goal, that was some of the worst NHL hockey I've seen from any team. Yikes. No flow, no fight, no anything.

Honest question........ does MSL coach at all? We've run out the same PP with the same guys doing the same shit for 2 years now. It hasn't worked and hasn't looked like it's ever going to work. The last three games, we've gotten like 19 penalties... some we've def deserved and some we didn't at all. Guy doesn't break a sweat. I remember him being quite the fiery player when he needed to be. Nobody's being benched, no emotion toward the ref to wake the lads up, nothing. I find it very odd.

So this pretty much looks like Ducharme/Bergevin team now. I mean everything we saw today was seen 2-3 years ago. Even without Dach this is a relatively healthy roster that simply cannot play NHL level hockey. And I don’t think its just the players. Yes Habs have a lot of inexperience but that can be mitigated to a degree with specific strategies and systems. But Marty does not believe in system. His entire approach is winging it.

As far as management goes I am also seeing much of what was here during the Bergevin glory years. Poor drafting, bloating up of the front office with people like Lecavakier (Wtf does he do), not addressing most glaring problems for years like special teams because what… Marty likes his buddy Burrows?

It’s time for the honeymoon with MSL and management to be over and useless reporters need to grow a pair and start asking (publically) hard questions.

Time to separate Caufield and Suzuki for a bit. I actually want to see what Monahan can do with Caufield at his side.
For a bit? weve paid caufield now and he belongs on the 4th line you .... blind....... f***!

Brady Tkachuk and Quinn Hughes but we took Kotkaniemi…

Oh that's a given, but the KK lovers here went down defending that pick. Taking numbnuts that high instead of Brady lol, nice scouts.. some of which are still here

But still take him!

Is there a third pairing D man we can take instead, because our right side needs fixing? God help us if there is, you just know we will skip the BPA and draft for need again

I think if we end up bottom 5 again this season , the entire coaching staff should be axed. Motivator my ass , PP is abysmal , PK is a mess , defensively there is no plan or whatever.

Something needs to happen. Send the kids in Laval and just tank up or try to make a trade. This is a copy paste of the last 2 years , new coach or not

Habs players all played for all kinds of coaches I am sure... some worse than others. Hell... some played for Ducharme. So I am pretty sure they are starting to see or rather get tired of MSL/Burrow clown show. I wonder if players are starting to tune them out. Probably not all... probably starts with pockets, but that, imho, risks creating the very same environment that MSL was hired to fix. I mean his only real achievement was resurrection of Caufield. That's about it. And even then I would question whether it had anything to do with MSL or just a coincidence.

Caufields play at the blue line was HOT. Little offensive check and a nice pass to savard for the 1 time to newhook. Yeah..

Where do you see me say he should play on the 4th line? What’s the matter with you?
It auto corrected.. I didn't even mean to send that ugh.. sorry bro.

This problem goes back to Gorton's first mistake which pissed me off when he didn't fire the entire coaching staff, bringing in Marty was an interesting idea but everyone except management knew we needed some people with REAL coaching experience to help Marty but i guess his ego wouldn't allow that.Three games in and i'm already sick of watching this disorganized mess,Hughe's moves so far have been ok ,but as far as developing them good luck with this coaching staff.
