That must have been the most maddening game of the season. Habs could have taken it but Primeau literally shat on their faces. Throw him on waivers.

No. What we dont have is a PP coach.
I mean we don't have any PP forwards either. Except for Cole and Nick, none of these guys have been successful PP players at any stage of their careers. I think the four forwards setup is starting to be dumb as hell because Guhle, Matheson, and Barron are all way more competent with the puck than our current forward options.

whenever I ask I'm told it's unacceptable to ask and we should bow down to Kent's every move because he's such a genius. The gang here gets quite upset if you doubt something Kent does and wonder what the plan is. They will still blame Bergevin, even for the the trades Kent makes lol, he's immune to criticism here and in the press.
Preach, brother. I didn't expect Habs to have a magical run this season. All I want is to see however, is minor but progress. I don't. Even if Habs magically manager to dump these brutal contracts... then what? It's not like they have some top notch talent waiting at the wings or readily available to be acquired. Sheesh. Habs have cap room now.

Golden Bachelor is down-right cringe, btw.

Kovacevic: 4 goals
Anderson: 0 goals

Now to be fair, Anderson played very well in the first period buttttttttt still.

It's too bad he wasn't like $2 million. I wouldn't even care then although he's not really good enough defensively for the bottom lines.

Watched parts of the game.

I thought Primeau was playing well in the first or second, I was happy to see him progress, I tune out for a bit and it's 4-1, damn.

The PP is disastrously bad. They can't take the zone, and when they do they make passes around the perimeter until the other team intercepts.

Looks like Edmonton is back on track but they can't have Pickard as back up.

Habs can't continue carrying 3 goalies and you could see it in Marty's presser that he has had enough of the 3 goalie system.
Habs at this point should just waive Primeau and move on.
He gets too easily rattled after allowing a bad goal.

The team in front of him wavered. I don't know how good or bad Primeau is or might become, he's not playing for a constant team and this team most weakness is the overall defensive play.

100%. He has the tools to be a very good goalie, but he breaks down mentally to the point where it shows physically. It's unfortunate, but he's not it.

Your right we don't know how good he could become but the system of not being able to send him back to the AHL is hurting his growth because he's not ready.
It would have been great to see him build on his playoff run last year and build more confidence and experience in the AHL but life is not that easy.

What most likely will happen is we lose him for nothing and he keeps maturing in net and becomes at least a very solid backup

Anderson gets almost 20 every year, this year has been bad but the team is mostly awful. Trade him and you are just trying to find someone like him to come back, the Anderson that has been pretty reliable his time here.

I wish they could break him out of the slump because he was a pretty solid guy for us, he really has been up till this year.
