A lot of guys have been shooting the puck, you wouldn't know it by the shot totals though. Maybe by the dents in other players' shin pads, or the people who flinch when a puck bangs against the glass.

Habs fans are just as ****ing obnoxious as Flyers fans. Holy ****.

That said, for a team that's leading the Eastern Conference the Habs do not impress me at all. Two ****ing turnovers cost the Devils the game tonight. QUIT PLAYING STUPID. Jesus ****ing christ.

I honestly though the Devils looked good out there, but you guys seemed to have trouble up front. Kovalchuk is a beast but he clearly needs a little more help on center.

On a side note remember that we have Ryder, Diaz, Prust and Bourque out.

Don't worry, everyone is butthurt that we keep losing and people are just making ignorant comments out of frustration.

Disregard everything said right now. Everyone is just angry at the loss.

The Devils won 4 of their first 5 at the Rock against Montreal. Total record 5-6.

And on another note, funny how Zidlicky's so important to the PP yet the PP has sucked for weeks, and then scores when Harrold is on the ice. If he's going to make bonehead defensive plays like the third period tonight, he darn well better start pulling more weight offensively, besides the outlier two goal game.

Interesting. Guess it only has been of recent years. I agreed about Zidlicky. He's been pretty terrible this year. I thought he played very well last year but he's 35 plus I believe so I would go in a different direction next season.

That was their 10th game in 17 nights. 3 of the 7 off days came in a span of 4 days. Which means the rest of it was basically 9 in 13. Chill out.

He played so much this game, I'm not surprised. He was probably dehydrated and needed fluids taken via IV. Happens often in soccer, when a player goes for long stretches without water, Mia Hamm and Michelle Ackers (opps. sorry  ) both needed to be hooked up to IVs during intermissions and after games when they were in the prime of their careers.

Kovy played 25:42 tonight, 'below' his season average (which in itself shows how nuts his season average is). Of course that was 25:42 he played on his tenth game in seventeen nights.

And btw, Akers also has chronic fatigue syndrome, which isn't helped by playing a 90-minute soccer game. I'll take your word for it on Mia Hamm though she didn't have CFS.

Outside of the 1st period, which was like staring into the sun for 20 minutes, the team looked pretty good. Zidlicky made a top boneheaded play of the year probably and the team can't score for beans but what can you do? Win Tuesday and all will be forgotten. Rangers will be in the tired situation we were in tonight as well so that means we'll probably screw it up. Love to have Marty back for that but Moose was good tonight. Not much to complain about outside of the scoreboard.

Why am i not drunk and half naked right now? Failed

Him and Henrique were either so gassed they were puking or were taking solution/IV in the dressing room. They were gone from the bench in the 3rd. They were playing two C's for awhile.

Ultimately the two turnovers were the difference. Thought Pesonen looked out of his element out there. For any Habs excuse of injuries, Devils have the same problem so that's irrelevant. Trust me, Habs fans can be arrogant as ****. Most have a tendency to attach themselves to the Canadiens' glorious history and imagine somehow by osmosis that makes them superior and more knowledgeable. I got chirped about Cups on the way out by some punk who wasn't even old enough to remember their Cups. And as a Canadian I'm surrounded by them year round.

Like I was saying and a couple others, this team just isn't built good enough up front for any injury to go unnoticed. Any forward injury to anybody that isn't Barch or maybe Kostopolous is too much of a blow right now. Whereas we can lose 3 defensemen, and survive as long as it isn't Greene. Speaking of defensemen why did Larsson only get a little over 15 minutes of ice time tonight? He wasn't on the ice for either goal I don't think, and didn't look bad tonight that I noticed.

I've about had it with Zajac. I'm not gonna sit here and complain about his contract, but GTFO the 1st line until further notice please. It's pathetic Loktionov has played in 13 games and has 7 points. 1 less point than Zajac who has played in all 29 games. That's less than half. Henrique has 5 less points in 5 less games than Zajac this season. So I ask again Pete, why the **** did you demote Henrique to the 3rd for Zajac on the 1st? We already went to a 2 line team at best with Loktionov out of the lineup. Zajac on the 1st, and Henrique on the 3rd may as well make us a 0 line team.

Zajac's line was the best line against Philly. Henrique was in the lockeroom for a bunch of the 3rd because he's gassed. What do you expect them to do?

And I'm out.

Put Zajac back on the 3rd, and put Patty or Henrique up there. I don't know how anyone can be happy with Zajac on the 1st line. Zajac on the 1st line now is like John Madden centering Patty and Gio back in the day. Zajac is on pace for 23 points in an 82 game season. That's what John Madden was getting in his last full season in the NHL at 38 years old too. The game started with Zajac centering the 1st, and Henrique on the 3rd so I don't know what him in the locker room during the 3rd means. He did wind up getting a few seconds more ice time than Zajac. It also doesn't help when we have 3rd liners like Poni on the 1st. That isn't on Pete though, it's on management for the way the team was assembled.

I'm not saying buy the guy out, I'm saying get him off the 1st line for now. Scott frickin Gomez just tied Zajac in points for the season tonight and hasn't played nearly as many games.:help:

I was in 233 tonight and these 4 morons (Habs fans) in either 132 or 133 not sure of the section, would not sit down or shut up all game long. And of course security did nothing about them because they weren't wearing Devils jerseys
