Keep in mind that Hutson was 5’7 at the draft. I think the Canadiens correctly calculated that he’d still be there. I din think their assessment was flawled. Nobody knew that he’d be growing another few inches. If they did he’d have been drafted higher.

What you’re seeing now is players being put in the right chair. Ghule has been playing on his wrong side for two years now. Matheson is no longer ‘the guy’ so he’s playing better too. Evans is playing in the spot he should rather than being moved up. It’s much better.
Fully agree but Guhle's also much stronger and developped phisically than he was in previous years, he used to be getting pushed around quite a bit but now he brings the pain.
