Decent game. Habs played fairly well.

Andy is playing fast and physical and looks good out there (just want to point that out).

I love Laine just like the rest of you but I wouldn't open the vault yet. His 3 goals are all PP, which obviously count as goals still, but I'd like to see a little 5 on 5 production as he ramps his conditioning back up. Again, would never crap on the guy. I wanted to trade for him so bad and was devastated at his injury.

He did hit the post though on a nice play by Slaf. Hopefully that line starts cooking.

I'm seeing lots of star level puck management by a Laine who is still working on his game fitness.

but you know pp. wins game too right? remember how long we struggled on the pp.
He still missed ton of time . 5 vs 5 will come. Even while not scoring5 on 5 he still dishing hits, making the small plays. Can't be more satisfied by him

We’re so not use to talent that the best we’ve witnessed in years is past prime Kovalchuk and just back from injury Laine.

When these guys are available, you make the deal and hope for the best. Let’s hope he can keep this motivation
Let the man shoot the puck. And tell him to keep shooting even when it's not going in.

That was something he was doing in Columbus, when he wasn't scoring, he stopped shooting the puck.

The Monahan deal was a banger too. But its tough to beat getting Laine. Hopefully they can keep him without destroying the salary structure.
I’m more concerned about his resilience — can he really have full seasons without significant setbacks? Maybe that part of his history will help achieve a more reasonable deal.

It only took 9 nine seasons but NHL coaches have finally managed to ruin 3 on 3 OT.
That 3 on 3 was absolutely brutal. So much focus on puck possession and not enough on actually trying to be creative. Both teams got out of the opponents zone just for the f***ing sake of it. You gained the zone and have no pressure on you, why the f*** are you retreating you dipshits. /end of rant
