the lesser suckiest team won after the first 10 min of hockey it was pretty hard on the eyes, typical Marty hockey. Then there's Molson's comment the other day " Ce serait une erreur de ne pas suivre le plan" what's the plan ? bore us to death until Marty graduates coaching schoolBad win imo regulation loss would have been great , at least the boys got some points
I suspect Laine will take below market value, long term to stay in Montreal- a city that works for him and he wants to win hence he wanted to join the rebuild.I get it...we are 4 games in....but if he keeps this up....how much do you predict we pay Laine. Go 8 years x 10.5?
Banking on a player to take below market is always a little risky, but I hope you are right!I suspect Laine will take below market value, long term to stay in Montreal- a city that works for him and he wants to win hence he wanted to join the rebuild.
Bottom 5 vs Bottom 3the lesser suckiest team won
Monty speaks like i have my television on fast forward
He was ass on the first Duck's goal, which was caused by a brutal turnover by Dach. Didn't notice him a ton since, which, in his case, is a good thing. How was Barron tonight?
I got saw the 3rd, and he looked fine.
I agree. Most snipers are like that (besides like Matthews). Again, love Laine and love the idea of re-signing him but I'm seeing 8 years x pretty large figures being thrown out around here after 4 games where he's gotten 3 PP goals.Laine is a very hot & cold player. There will be times when he goes 5+ games without a point and then explodes for 5 goals in the next 5. I'm a little concerned as well about the 5 on 5 production, but hopefully he gets going soon. He's fun to watch and that shot is always awesome and puts you to the edge of your seat
It's all Molson's money and I am not concerned how much he has to pay. The concern is that it's not another Slaf situation where you pay 4M per goal.Banking on a player to take below market is always a little risky, but I hope you are right!
Yeah but Slaf is still on his ELC. There is no Slaf situation quite yet. Give it time. It's all Molson's money and I am not concerned how much he has to pay. The concern is that it's not another Slaf situation where you pay 4M per goal.
It wasn't for a lack of trying from them...and no one gets hurt from the 2 knuckle head d men in ana
That line is really screaming for someone with pace and speed,so slow. The Laine - Dach - Slaf line has been getting a decent amount of chances the last few games. I think we'll get some interesting 5 v 5 production out of them. But they have to tighten up a bit defensively, as was expected.
Ducks gave Montreal an early Christmas gift, what a gaff.lolBad win imo regulation loss would have been great , at least the boys got some points
it's been four games and things could change but I agree with you. If he feels appreciated and wanted, I'm sure he'll want to stay to avoid reliving what's happend in Columbus and, to a lesser extent, Winnipeg.I suspect Laine will take below market value, long term to stay in Montreal- a city that works for him and he wants to win hence he wanted to join the rebuild.
good for himI appreciated the look of relief on Dach's face after his goal and how happy his line mates were for him. Hopefully this can get him going. It's been a struggle for him this year.
Coaches will overcoach that too.................................remember when they first changed it to 3 on 3 it was so much fun to watch!!OT has been terrible for years. It completely sucks to watch as it currently stands. I hope the idea of not being able to go back past the redline comes to fruition at the GM meetings.
