Canada scores with 11 seconds left to tie game. Norway was defending the slot really well, but not on that goal.

Norway coach was pissed because he thought faceoff should be outside the zone due to puck being put into Norway's bench on previous faceoff. Thinking Canada's centre had caused that, but it was really both of them.

Then a trip to a Norway D allowed Canada to get the puck after Norway wins that disputed faceoff, pass out front to Crouse who gets it off so quickly - an amazing release.

Canada’s lack of dynamic skaters was clearly and painfully on display during the overtime. Well at least they didn’t play Lucic.

Well Fantilli got turfed and I haven't watched Carlsson. I have no interest in watching players we aren't drafting. In terms of what Canada brings to the table it's sad really.

He's just cranky because Canada's team is not very good. Also, Fantilli was kicked out of this game due to a hit to the head penalty. It was clean but guy had his head down.

Otherwise both Fantilli & Carlsson look like studs.

So Canada - Czech game tomorrow is for 2nd place. The winner grabs 2nd and plays Finland in QF.

Loser gets 3rd & the Swedes.

Fantilli at 18 is among Canada’s most dynamic skaters/players. He plays with vision and intensity. And he is a physical force. If I was drafting 1OA in the upcoming draft I know who I would be taking. Consensus notwithstanding.

Canada knows they need players who can skate on the big ice surface. You would think we could do much better with our selection process. Our best don't want to play in this tournament so why even bother. World Cup every 4 years best on best is the answer going forward. This is nothing but a glorified European Championship.
