I hope you mean Division 1A as opposed to 1B.

1B features the likes of Romania and the Netherlands and whilst GB aren't going to do well in the top group, they're way better than 1B.
I consider Lithuania to be quite firmly 1B nation and you lost to us what, last 4 games out of 5? It also features Japan and Poland and even though Japan is slumping Poland is at least on par with you.

This could easily end up as Denmark's biggest win ever in the top division. Biggest win so far was 6-0 against Slovakia in 2010.

If Denmark has 10, France will score 8 or so, quality gap between these 3 countries is just huge.

Heard that Patrick Galbraith is starting for Denmark?

He played with Britain's Nottingham Panthers a couple years ago.

Maybe that’s why he will be a starter tonight .

On the other hand I do believe, Ben Bowns will save the day for team GB. Guy is an absolute beast in the net and the main reason GB is in elite group this year IMHO

Buddy the game started 1 hour ago and they conceded 7 goals already, Bowns substituted after 5.

Next year GB play in D 1A vs Romania against relegation. Hungary,Slovenia,Korea and the other relegated team(ITA,NOR or AUT) are better.

Ouch. Feel so sorry for team GB. Can someone tell me what’s happening? Since I cannot watch the game now
0-8 they are just overplayed by much superior nation, they let goalies all alone. Just curious if we see even 3rd goalie

Yeah maybe, but again - look at the danish team.

Almost all the players play in: NHL, AHL, SHL, KHL or DEL.

That's what i mean. Denmark probably end up at 6th place in this group. It shouldn't be so damn huge gap between the 6th ranked team and the 8th at a World Championship.

Denmark aren't doing anything special. GB players just haven't played anywhere close to what they can do. Defenders making a lot of mistakes. A lot of this game being so one sided was the Swindlehurst delay of game penalty when it was 0-0. Then Denmark scored twice with him in the box and GB players haven't been able to shake off the early goals.

GB beat the Netherlands like 13-0 last time they played them
Last time they played the Dutch B team because the Netherlands only had their best players once in the last 4 years because of Tilburg situation. So it's nice you want to illustrate your might against the powerhouse that the Dutch NT is but it all isn't quite so.

Why? Riding buses in the ECHL isn't very glamorous either.

I'd consider the ECHL a sideways move. There's a lot of that level of player in EIHL. Plus he tops out at AHL level. I think he has to go to Europe to get to a higher level if he can be AHL quality or better.

Exactly. DEL2 seems to be a good stopgap if he has what it takes to get further up. Which I don't think he does but you never know.
