Can't believe Domi wasn't good enough to be invited last year.
Too short

Score on the PP and I think it's game.
Eichel has been invisible.
very tough to prove generational talent at WJC...mostly because you're a man amongst boys...you do all the right things but those around you are amateurs. They will shine when they get to the pros.I think McDavid and Eichel are both showing that the term 'generational talent' is getting thrown around way too liberally these days.
Crosby was still more of a role player than the main guy. Just like this tournament with McDavid. These four games aren't going to make or break his career.
Its been going on all game, brutal call. Let them play.
Didn't really get why Tyler Motte and Miles Wood were on the team, but they're proving they don't belong.
Very entertaining game so far.
I thought Milano made that pass to DeAngelo cross the zone, but I haven't even noticed him by not looking at his name. Can't pull any tricks against Canada. He caused their only goal.huh?
that's why I love this time of year...these kids play so absurdly hard...and it's a million times better than the olympics.NHL games will look like crap later after watching this
Thank you! there is some significant dead weight on team USA...their depth is severely lacking.

It's as weak as the call on Ritchie.
Personally, I'd move Fabbri up with McDavid and move Virtanen to the right side. Lazar would excel in a more defensive role (where the goals will still come), while Virtanen and Fabbri have the offensive skill to convert for McDavid. That third line has had one great game, so it's not like breaking them up is going to kill chemistry.Groulx needs to move Fabbri up with McDavid & Lazar. Virtanen is not looking comfortable out of position at LW.
Lazar and Virtanen are both VERY good players, though. Hell, Lazar IS an NHLer. I still think that line should be juggled but you can't blame McDavid's linemates for the way he's looked. You might not be playing with NHL pros out there but, once you get to the NHL, you'll also be facing the Bergeron's and Webers of the world too, playing against superior NHL-systems and coaching. They both should be showing more, especially at this level. It's not going to be easier, once they make the pros.very tough to prove generational talent at WJC...mostly because you're a man amongst boys...you do all the right things but those around you are amateurs. Yup, I completely agree.I think McDavid and Eichel are both showing that the term 'generational talent' is getting thrown around way too liberally these days.

Imagine how much better Canada would be with Ho-Sang?
