Look whose in the house for McDavid vs Eichal:

:D

Nope, he is pre-scouting Matthews.

Not sure why we as Canadians are complaining about officiating.

I didn't like the call on Ritchie but Larkin's high stick was a follow through. And we scored on it.

The officiating has been even both ways. I bought the Ritchie call changed the game a bit and that's why we're seeing more calls and more chippy stuff.

My only issue was that before the US scored on the PP they got, Lazar got his stick slashed in a prime scoring chance. The refs probably didn't call it because Canada had just gotten a PP. There's too much "PP rotation" in these tournaments, from what I've seen.

Oh well, it's done and over with. Canada needs to win the third period and go home happy.

Domi did have a really slow start last year offensively. Really kicked it up into high gear after he was "snubbed"

Oilers should be banned from attending this tournament. Go away. :D

...and I say that as an Edmontonian.

I honestly hope the Oilers get Eichel over McDavid.

I think McDavid will be a great player but he has the same issue as Crosby.

Its easy to get into his head and the pressure put on him is obviously getting to him.

Eichel has an edge to his game, and it would be hilarious to see him and Nurse as team mates.

Last i heard with the changes to the lottery, oilers will most likely get Eichel. Correct me if I'm wrong tho

Could not agree more.

Domi is almost two years older than both of them.

What would they be doing to competition if they were a full two years older?

We'll never know because they will likely be top ten NHLer scorers by then. Put that into perspective when comparing them to Domi, for instance.

Ya Domi had played well but running around ignoring passes while trying to do it all yourself doesnt impress me..

McDavid and Eichel are just too good to be playing with some of the other players palying like chickens with their heads cut off..

It's not the fault of McDavid or Eichel that talking heads cannot shutup about them.
A tournament that has not yet entered the medal round doesn't mean a whole lot. Sorry.

This game isn't do or die. Canada followed the same track last year, beat the US in the prelim round then didn't medal. The US got spanked by Russia.

This game is more for hype, ratings and a chance for some brief bragging rights. I view this game as a scouting trip for how these guys play against superior competition.
