Personally, I'd move Fabbri up with McDavid and move Virtanen to the right side. Lazar would excel in a more defensive role (where the goals will still come), while Virtanen and Fabbri have the offensive skill to convert for McDavid. That third line has had one great game, so it's not like breaking them up is going to kill chemistry.

Agreed, that would also work. I just feel they need to get Virtanen back on his correct wing.

Look whose in the house for McDavid vs Eichal:

:D

Yeah. I don't know why tsn think the nation cares what MacT thinks.

This game isn't do or die. Canada followed the same track last year, beat the US in the prelim round then didn't medal. The US got spanked by Russia.

This game is more for hype, ratings and a chance for some brief bragging rights. I view this game as a scouting trip for how these guys play against superior competition.

That's true. The winner doesn't necessarily get anything out of it... besides a little bit of bragging, but it won't matter if you don't medal.

It's a good thing Domi was drafted by Arizona otherwise these threads would be half Domi hype posts.

Ya Domi had played well but running around ignoring passes while trying to do it all yourself doesnt impress me..

McDavid and Eichel are just too good to be playing with some of the other players palying like chickens with their heads cut off..

What?! Domi has been Canada's best passer/set up man for the whole tournament.

Imagine how.awesome this tournament would be....especially the Canada and USA games if they played by North American or NHL rules.

eh.. both Eichel and McDavid have been pretty invisible this game.

Eichel slightly better, but... meh performances from both so far.
