Yep, I agree. He looks like a very young 17 year old player out there. Trying not to make a mistake rather than going for it. He has a little growing up to do, but the skills are there for sure.

Didn't really get why Tyler Motte and Miles Wood were on the team, but they're proving they don't belong.

As much complaining as Canadians have done about Gauthier, he is going to be a very useful NHLer.

Exactly. I don't know why people hate the guy. Not every guy playing on the team is going to be a flashy forward with insane skills.

Gauthier doesn't even play too many minutes to warrant the hate he gets.

As long as Canada stays out of the box, they should be okay. The US haven't generated much of anything 5 on 5 since the first.

Man I love this tournament. Great game all round.

I'd say the first was pretty even. Canada definitely dominted most of that period early on especially. But the Americans were coming on since the 2nd Canadian goal. I knew that wouldn't be enough so it should eb a great 3rd. We have to be more disciplined though. Nurse pnealty was just stupid.

In terms of NHL upside, I have a hard time thinking anybody has a higher one than Hanafin.

My only knock on him is his shot. But Jesus Christ the team picking 3rd overall is going to be happy they sucked this year.
