The REAL issue is we cant get that EXTRA GOAL. No killer instinct. Its an offensive issue. Not a defensive one. The goal to kill a team and take their will away. We're up 2-0 and can't get the 3rd.

The other team has the f***ing ability to score 2 measly goals. Its a professional hockey team. a 2-0 lead is NOTHING. So Score 3, 4, stop hitting the f***ing post, get one off your ass, I dont care - find a way to get that extra goal. We never do. Now the game is tied. Its next goal wins. And we cant SCORE AGAIN.

Game 7's we're up 1 and cant go up 2. Post here. Amazing save there. No luck over there.

I am so f***ing sick of people focusing on defence, giving up leads, blah blah blah, when time and time again in big games the issue that is plain as day is we can never score the EXTRA goal when we need it.

The other teams get that extra goal. ALL THE TIME.

You know who is sitting first in the overall standings right now? Hint they're also the number 1 defensive team in the league.

You don't win cups by focusing solely on offense even Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Stamkos, Hedman, Point, Kucherov, Stone, Marchessault, Pietrangelo, Theodore, etc. etc. will tell you that.

Marner was actually pretty good tonight and created enough plays where the game should have been dead and buried by the middle of the second.. but no... no ... it didn't happen.
