Post-Game Talk: Grinding out wins like we’re constipated

Another solid defensive game, and Skinner played very well. Scoring goals is still an issue for the group, hopefully that can sort that out shortly. Two big points.
It's gonna be a tough post game thread without the goaltender to complain about 
Mcdavid takes one shot all night and scores. Would have thought that maybe they would have clued in to shoot more when Shesterkin did the startled cat pose after Arvidsson ripped one top shelf from practically the blue line, but that's not this team's style apparently.
Typical productive Nuge night. Doesn't even touch the puck on one of the goals, dumps the puck off to other superior players and watches them actually do something with the puck for the other goals, and ends up with 3 points

Arvid lucky to have the Rangers D pulling a Nurse deflecting it right into the net. I'd hardly call that coming up big. J Skinner had a solid outing. Arvid was his pancake self most of the game.
Good thing this was the inept rangers tonight. What a hopeless performance from all the Rangers core. Telling that in the last couple minutes with goalie pulled it was the Rangers bottom lines out.
Z and Panarin should be fired. What absolutely hopeless performances.
RNH looked better than the whole Rangers club. Telling as well.

That's the third period they had been seeking all road trip. Credit to the players for salvaging a 2-2 road trip after two close losses to start the trip.
The Oilers have the most shots in the NHL. By a wide margin. People seem to think we're not firing the puck. Thats not the case at all.
Threw the puck at the net on one of the pp's and it created chaos and ultimately a goal. Who knew? And McDavid doing what needs to do way more, shoot the puck off the rush.
They are the same folks that celebrate the fact that a broken clock is correct twice a day and can tell their mommy they know how to tell what time it is.Most people in here are happily eating their crow
Shooting at the wrong times, and extremely low percentage.
It was a strange 3 pt night. One assist hits his skate, another hits his ass and I can't remember the other one. When Nuge has these multiple pt nights its often been innocuous. just touching the puck.
Rangers fans should be booing their own club though, not Draisaitl. Where'd that come from?

This was an ugly, muddy track game. Really liked Walman's defending game with 6 blocks, solid blue paint defending and actual weak side positional support for the goaltender. Squint and some bright signs include perfect PK, cutting down on goals against, and grinding through their lost, once dynamic offensive game. Big win. Need to stack some W's. Get guys healthy.
