Post-Game Talk: Grinding out wins like we’re constipated

the offense is still the biggest concern on the club, cause it's where we allocated most of our cap space to

we've scored more than 3 goals just once since since the 4 Nations break
Our offense has atleast shown they can be elite unlike your son.

Most Oiler fans who know what theyre talking about understand that its more likely the offense will bounce back rather than Skinjob.

Keep defending this clown though and realize we arent laughing with you, but at you

Unrelated, but watching Blues games makes me sick. Dylan Holloway is so good.
An un-needed loss, management pouting because a young player takes care of his future. They could have matched.

McLeod, Fogele and Holloway with 56 goals and 124 points and the three plugs that replaced them, Skinner, Arvidsson and Podz with 25 goals and 62 points.

Where did our secondary forward scoring go? We let em walk out the door and got older in the process.

Neat Skinner stats.

Skinner playing after Pickard wins his start:
10-2-2
0.925 sav%

Skinner other starts (Pickard didn't win our last game):
13-15-2
0.883 sav%

Skinner brings it when Pickard steals the show the game before. I feel like I've seen this a dozen times this year where Pickard has a great game and everyone (including me) is saying he should be our starter, but Skinner almost always shuts everyone up with his next game after. I guess it's basically been ~a dozen times. But then inevitably back to same old Skinner if he keeps getting more starts after that or Pickard is doing his own faltering.

Seems like some real motivational quirks going on with The Stache.
Maybe alternate them per game instead of trying one to run with it

Come on Drivesaitl. I know you hate #33, bit your take on his game today is completely wrong. He had an excellent game - kept O-zone pressure, great forechecking, and, of course the goal. He wasn't muscled off the puck today like many days...

#53 looks good out there. I hope he gets more playing time.

If there's going to be someone who should be the one we're picking on, it's #42. Waste of a roster spot...

Yep Arvidsson had his best game in a long time. I've been shitting on him quite a bit. Reverse jinx is undefeated.

A lot of offensive players are having subpar seasons, to put it mildly. And that includes McDavid (also RNH, Hyman, Arvidsson, Skinner, Henrique). But only the playoffs matter.

Jake Walman has been a horse since we got him. He never gets tired and his defensive game is way better than what was told. He’s so good at breaking up plays and blocking shots.

Nurse and Walman will continue to build after Ekholm and Bouchard get together
For sure, but I'm not seeing anything in the o zone from walman. That has me wanting but I'm optimistic it will cum

Big win, wasn't perfect, but they got it done. I hope some guys get healthy and they get back to the game they played earlier in the year.

Two wins in a row. ES goals and goals from wingers.

Can’t wait to see this team with Ek, Frederic, and Kane.
