Nice. Even though he's a legend, I think Plante is almost a bit under-rated. I personally consider he and Hašek the two greatest goalies in history...

Hollywood Wolves est 1945-46 , 18yr old Bill Barilko was on this team but not sure which one he is in the photo.
Saw this photo in a recent online auction and had never heard of this team. I was surprised to find out that it was a Toronto Maple Leafs affiliate from 1944-47.

When Statnsy was first acquired by the Devils Tommy Albelin wore #26. Statsny took #29. The following training camp Albelin didn't make the team and Statsny then took #26. When Albelin was recalled, he took #6.

Puts into perspective just how big Dryden was for that era. He had 8 inches on Vachon... that's enough to make a guy change his mind between shooting and passing.
