One of the nicest goals of the year, might not be GOTY but who cares, it was amazing.

Nice goal but the only guy who he really made a serious move to go through was Ference, who was trying some real (Edit) poke check on him. No backcheck pressure allowed him to slow up and start making head down deke moves basically right at the top of the o-zone circle. Overall terrible play by the Oilers made that look better than it was.

GOTY a bit much, we've seen nice goals where players have gone through 2-3 opposition, who were actually in position and playing some semblance of proper hockey.

Can't we just have a GOTY thread, and mods can just list off any appropriate goals with a video in the post, and stop having stupid arguments. The fact is, people saying "Goal of the Year? No way! Definitely top ten though" are ****ing insane.

You wanna know how many goals have been scored this season? 4199.

So somehow, you've been able to remember all 4199, and exclaim that definitively 4189 other goals didn't make the cut, this goal (and 9 others) deserve DEFINITE top ten contention, and yet this goal is in NO WAY the best of the year.

I loved Toffoli's goal against Edmonton when the Kings laid the smackdown at the beginnig of the season. It was like watching some of the Jr A guys against Midget C's in intramurals. Hell, so was Rielly's
