Its usually GOTY when you see it live half the time but when you go back to it, it's just a really good play that you don't see that often.

Regardless, this is more to come from Rielly since he's been playing like this since the coaching change.

"But it was against the Oilers!" Like the Leafs are any better right now. Nice goal though.

A rough quote from a live feed of the Leafs post games:

Q: How did it feel after that? (in reference to the goal)
A: The win? It felt great. It is all that matters, we don't care about individual goals.

Ference is a joke, how the hell is he a captain of an nhl team. Embarassing.

I'm of a thought that Ference is still a decent player. Put him on an actual team and he'll do fine. That being said, totally not a captain, just like Phaneuf. Neither can lead a team, but are still good players.

There is are reasons why MR is almost always asked for in trade proposals. This is just one of them. Sick goal, hope he stays a Leaf for a long time.

My god the Oilers must have some of the worst D in the history of the NHL. Very nice goal but definitely not the best of the year.

Great goal. Was even better being at the game and watching this in person!

Boy is Edmonton's defense bad though. Breakaway after breakaway for the Maple Leafs.

It's a beautiful goal because it's a series of great plays from the defensive zone all the way down the ice. You don't see many plays where a guy outplays all 5 opposing players on the ice and the goalie from the defensive zone through to the front of the net.

Tarasenko's Forsberg is still my personal GOTY but oh man that was a beautiful display of hockey by Morgan Rielly.
