Looking at the boxscore... Did the fans cost the Griffs a point for throwing shit on the ice when they tied it late? Anyone watch it?

It was happening throughout the 3rd period in tonight's game. Been an ongoing problem for the past few seasons. We had a bench minor before in a game last season for the same reason. Maybe management will finally listen to us season ticketholders to change the chuck a puck promotion to the 2nd intermission (like all the other arenas do) rather than do it after the game (especially on Friday night games) where the drunks do not give a damn about the game.

It was the first time that they actually went after fans who threw the pucks onto the ice. Will see what happens at the next home game.

Looks like the same team as last year. Down 2-0 and getting outshot 2-11 ~13 mins into the game

Ended up losing 3-0 with the shots being 18-27 for Rockford. Albert Johansson was out of the lineup last night

Maybe I was wrong, they stink right now

1+0 for Kasper thru 6 games

Besides Edvinsson and Cossa it has not been good

Also the Didier captaincy after he’s played 1 game with the team was kinda weird

They really need Czarnik back

Hirose ? or he will be AHL for life?

I would say Hanas has looked solid as well, expected much more out of the team/ prospects. They really need to figure things out in GR, bad prospect development could be detrimental to the Wings future.

Disappointing start for sure, but IMO the most important development for the future was Cossa looking like he belonged and so far so good.

Yeah agreed

Kasper, Lombardi, Soderblom, Johansson all with 1 point so far :(

the prospects know that outside of hoping to fill in for multiple simultaneous injuries they need to wait until they run out of waiver immunity no matter what they do anyways

I wouldn't' feel very motivated to try hard either if I were them

So Berggren down, are they calling Hirose up ?

If said prospects are that mentally weak I don't think they have what it takes to make the NHL regardless.

if the Wings don't care how they perform why should they?
ricky0034 gives up when challenged so everyone should!

To answer your question:

Idk it's not like it's their livelihood or anything. I guess they shouldn't care about their future in hockey at all. A pro scout watching him "well, sure he's dogging it in the Red Wings organization but I bet he will try for us!"

Maybe they are trying hard but not doing well and that’s exactly why they’re not on the team.

Nah that actually makes sense, nvm

Not making the team should motivate them to try harder, not less.

Also, you can make a pretty decent living being an AHL star, Hirose is making $350k, and there aren't many 27 year olds making that kind of money in the real world.

Kinda guessing it's more of a coaching issue anyways, nobody's scoring aside from Hirose.

Has anyone here WATCHED the Griffins to see how they're playing as a team? What kind of system they have? I'm genuinely curious to see why this would be happening because our kids looked pretty good in preseason against NHLers but are getting their doonies beat up by random AHLers.
