Im sorry vaxjo but thats just ridiculous.
It really isn`t. Anybody who played at least on a semi-pro level knows he`s right.

That said:

No it's not. Some diving is pure embellishment, some "diving" is pulling your legs. You have no idea the beating the legs of a top forward gets, apparently.
You know your theory is right, but I found one very important mistake.

Suarez is a pure diver, Iniesta does what you called "avoiding the contact". Only a few give him, Messi or Xavi flak for it. I hate that too (or maybe the ref for whistling that as a foul), but at least I see the difference and understand their reasons.

I don't know, I think Suarez gets a tad more crap than he deserves, at least this season. He hasn't been diving more than anybody else. His constant going at refs is driving me nuts though. But as I have understood it, nobody is worse than Rooney in that department.

A "tad more" isn`t worth discussing about, amirite? ;)

There are so many disgusting things about football... I stopped paying attention a while ago and I`m happy I did. Just wanted to support your correct theory about different types of diving. Jumping all over the referee is a modern plague. It drives me nuts more than anything else too.

Discussing, sure, but hating no.

Yeah I hear you...I had the same feeling for many years. But the lockout drew me back in and I'm enjoying it greatly even if Pool is doing quite miserably

Thankfully, I had more options. This lockout made me a full time NFL fan. And I couldn`t be happier for that.

Not sure what would have to happen to bring me back to football. Put a gun to my head, whatever, I`d rather dodge a bullet. haha

If you want to avoid a tackle, Getzo and Vaxjo, you jump the **** out of the way, not "jump" and turn your head towards the ref in an attempt to get a call.

Yeah, no confirmation yet but the way Pardew was talking about Ba and the club, it seems inevitable at this point. Thank goodness I won't have to watch Torres attempt to play striker anymore. Holy hell has he hit a brick wall.

I don't believe anything until its reported by the club. The way Pardew was talking it seems like it's as good as done, but I'll wait for legitimate confirmation first. Remember how Robinho to Chelsea was supposedly completed a few years back?

I understand that. I said that in my first post. The thing is, there is no confirmation that Ba and Chelsea have agreed to terms and that was supposedly where they were hung up earlier. In all likelihood it's a done deal. I'm just saying I'd rather wait until Chelsea announce the singing. Until then, I prefer to be cautiously optimistic.

Additionally, Ba has failed medicals in the past.
