I just need them to add allot of trees in the middle of the current fairways and cut nice wide alleys on either side where the trees and rough are currently and I will be a pretty low handicap. Very little danger of me hitting them in the new rough up the middle.
There is a course near me called San Juan Oaks. One hole has dual fairways with a hazard down the middle. Several times, as a newer golfer, I just aimed down the middle. It worked out more often than not. I haven’t played it for a while since it’s closed for renovations.

Took me until July to get my first game in of the year, at St.B, and it was a total hack job, with a decent amount of alcohol. I hit 2 fairways through 11 holes, the 11th being courtesy of an oak that gave me a friendly bounce, which I proceeded to shoot into the 8th tee box.

Couldn't make a shot for my life, until the 18th hole, when I drained a 25 foot downhill putt for par.

I think that's enough to get me back out on the links again.

So I have yet to golf my first round and now I have picked up a back injury.

Riding in a cart as my 13 year old plays Beauty Bay Kenora. Four holes in so far and he’s hacking up a storm ….Black flies suck.

Edit: fun day my kid ended up having some really good holes followed by some horrific holes so the golf gods are working on making him an addic like they do with everyone.

Can’t believe how fun it is watching my kid gold. He has a really nice swing (thank you Golftec) and he seems to really enjoy it.

Hopefully I can get my back fixed up and join him here soon.

I’m going on a blind golf date with one of the HF folk this weekend
Looking forward to it.

St.B isn't long but its not easy either, at least for me. And now you add in the high rough especially around the greens and you add a whole new problem.:banghead:

I like to play the field, the cart path, the pond, the parking lot, the bush,.......

Played the Stadium Course at Bro Hof Slott yesterday. Damn fine golf course. Up and down golf, but heck of an experience to play at that level of golf course. Probably the best greens I'll putt on in the foreseeable future!

What a stupid day for my first round. Pretty sure I might have partial heat stroke. I think I golfed 10 or 11 of the 18 holes. No power cart was also moronic.

Yeah gotta stay hydrated.
Otherwise it’s just swinging the club to get off the course into AC asap

My son and I golfed with a women today named Audrey who had won the St B club championship in the past. Very nice women with a really solid game. Really great tempo and she had such nice control of her long game.

Just got back from walking 18
Yikes that was a humid one today.
I stepped out of my truck and glasses fogged right up.
Next time got to get an earlier tee time

Golfed 9 today at St B and that was the perfect amount of Golf today for the heat. What was nice is nobody was in front of us or behind us so I was able to hit two drives off each tee. It was nice to see some well struck golf shots off the tee for a change.

Or get contacts so you can have them fill with sweat.

Nice to see Joe Dirt win the British!
Too funny because he looks exactly like Joe Dirt. Was really hoping Rory could win though.
