Well, first full round of the year over with. A dreadful 98. In my defense, the grass was still close to marshland.

Something is up with my driver though. My 6i flies around 200. My driver was regularly short of 250.:dunno:

It is true. It is also Mother's Day. Quite a dilemma.
Only for Mother :sarcasm:
Mars opening next weekend

I’ll take a sub 100 any day
Hopefully it was still a great day

So I notice a passing resemblance of Max Homa to Connor Hellbucyk
Anyone else thinks so?

88 today, so definitely an improvement. Ran out of water on the 13th hole, so the last few holes were a challenge. Because apparently we skipped spring and went straight to 90 degrees and humid.

Good on score, too bad about the humidity and lack of water.

In times like those if you need extra strength remember dude is always taking it easy for everyone hydrating on white russians on the back nine somewhere. He's good that way, the dude abides

My girl friend booked Quarry Oakes for my birthday on Saturday. Unfortunately it looks like it might rain! Haven’t had the chance to get a round in yet this year. Hope the weather holds up.

Pretty well!

Definitely wet, but fairways were clear of standing water. Basically no winterkill, we're starting with two temp greens but apparently they are opening Monday.

If this rain could f off for a minute and we got some sun, it could be in good shape real fast. Just needs some sunshine.
This was us up until this week. Course was very soft yesterday, but after 3 days of sun it was not really wet anymore. Only had one drive plug in the fairway.

Ya i was quite happy with the shape St.B was in too, that sciene river is very high though. 88 and pretty happy with that . Couldn't get putts to drop at all, had 5 opportunities for birdie juice and didn't make 1 , the guys weren't happy.

First Men's League round in Carman tonight/Wednesday...

F'n cold... stiff breeze... wetter than wet...

Shot 51 for 9 holes...

It was great to be out there for a first kick at it though...

New partner... Larry is a good guy... we will have fun this year...

Cheers all... golf season is here... sorta...

Neepawa Golf Course - fairways are just a bit wet.

Dam it I couldn't keep my ball out of the water today.

I need to just get out there. Right now I am being a bit of a fair weather Golfer and by that I mean I haven't even thought about getting out.

Dress accordingly...

A double rye with water (no ice) from the cart girl at hole 4 helped a lot with the cold, damp environment...

Feel great today... all that fresh air and comradeship...

Haven't even got the clubs out of the basement. Why would I; golf in March is usually miserable...
