Here we have to wait for all the tonnes of snow to melt, then the course to dry, then hopefully be able to use the bridge that goes over a river to the 1st hole.So probably mid May.
Should give me enough time to get back into it to make it seem like I'm keeping pace with you guys!

So me and 3 buddies are going to drive down to Omaha and golf 2 games per day for 3 days in the 1st week of April. Never been to Omaha but the courses look nice and drive isn't too far, 10 hours . I just don't think we are golfing here until May and that's too long to wait damnit .

Don't know what is going on here but it's sure funny.

Looks like the golfer blew out his hammy by the way he is gripping the back of his legs after the fall. Not sure why this is hitting my funny bone so hard but it is.

Not a bad little city with a fantastic zoo, actually it's kinda like Winnipeg and about the same population!

Omaha was great, very nice city and way bigger than i thought. Played a beautiful course called Tiburon that had 27 holes . Green grass was beautiful to see again:laugh:. Course was in great shape already and was in a nice little valley completely surrounded by big beautiful homes..... i only hammered 1 house in 5 games, pretty good.

Weir and Hughes win the par 3 contest at The Masters, guaranteeing neither will win the actual Masters.

Negative nillies...

I had a great practice out at Southwood yesterday...

Starting off the year hitting as well as I ever had... something to look forward to...

Snow... harumph... surface nuisance... transitory... embrace it...

Anyone know of courses being open this weekend?

I'd settle for Shooters at this point lol
A few may open for our Jets.:naughty: I haven't heard anything but last year the executive course was the first to open, played there March 19th last year. This year maybe May 19th, unbelievable.

Kildonan opens Friday
Wet conditions down by the river will prevent those holes from being in play at this time. The course will open with holes 1,2,3 and then 13,14,15,16,17,18. Golfers are welcome to book two tee-time slots approximately 2 hours 15 minutes apart if they wish to play 18 holes of golf.
