OK, generally a bad date chosen, nobody has really responded affirmatively, Banjo Bowl. No HFJets golf tourney this year. Obviously there are other dates in September but my weekends are booked full aside from the date I proposed so if someone else wants to pick up the torch then go for it and have fun. Maybe next year will be better; we can certainly plan earlier.

Sorry I hadn’t gotten back to you in this option Buggs. I am locked into the Banjo bowl day taking kids and cousins. I still think getting together to golf is a great idea at some point and I appreciate the work you guys are doing on it.

87 in a cool breeze at Southwood yesterday. Saw the lads our there a few groups ahead (Scheif, Loogan, Josh, Commie). When the heck are they getting on the ice?

Played in a scramble at St B Wednesday. I was horse shit off the tee box as usual (not sure if this is now permanent) but lit it up from inside 130. Thank god we didn’t need my driver. Really great day on the links. I seem to be discovering how to enjoy golf while playing badly for the first time in my life.

Driving Range at Southwood was really nice this season. Was in great shape and really close to my office. Also great for practicing in the wind. Only made it inside the facilities twice though, once to buy the membership, once to buy tees.
Will join again next season if I don’t have to buy a full membership.

Golfed last weekend and have a couple of rounds coming up this weekend. Shit we are supposed to have nice weather all next week too! Really glad I signed up for a early bird special at Rossmere (for 2022) got to get some ‘bonus’ golf for Sept-Oct. Amazing weather.

Golfed Moon Lake in Saskatoon on Saturday a real nice 27 hole layout.
The changing leaves and valley views were spectacular.

Nothing like sweating on the golf course at the very end of September , just unreal weather. Now up to 110 games for the season, i like getting my moneys worth when you are a member.

Was supposed to golf at Mars today but I had a really lousy reaction to my second Shingles vaccine. Really rough night: freezing cold but sweating so much the blankets were actually wet, like a cloth. Joints were aching something fierce, terrible headache and zero energy. Went to bed at 10 last night and got up at 12:30. Never have had a reaction to a vaccine before other than a sore arm but that one ticked every box on the possible side effects range.

That does not sound like a very good night at all, 22 and sunny tomorrow with not much wind though. Great day for golf.
Greens were punched last week but are getting better every day, by next Thursday they should be pretty good.

Impressive workmanship!! Always good to complete a home project.
Going to be windy today and tomorrow but 29c for the next 3 days and in October
. Hope you guys are getting out during this and if you have work just call the boss and say you have a problem with your eyes and just can't see yourself coming in today.
