If they'd always play like that we'd win more than half the games, but this team seems to need to be kicked in the balls for two periods to get going.

Great push and honestly didnt play bad but wont win much when your best players are the main reason for your team being down 5-1. Plays from Tim and Chabot are killers against a team like Vegas.

I feel like the team left so many points on the table already. Vs the Leafs, Panthers, Tampa and tonight

He's actually a bad powerplay quarterback.

Wasn't there a phase at some point where he had 1 PP goal in a year and a half?

If that's the metric. Thoughts on Quinn Hughes and Adam Fox as PP QB's?

Can't win with defense like that. Dorion didn't address our glaring need in the offseason despite all his moves.
How does that change the huge gaffes from Chabot, Stutzle and DeBrincat? And Sanderson getting walked?

3 minutes left or so, Chabot bobbles the puck in his own zone, has to retreat, then comes out again and misses the guy 6 feet away with a pass to the skates before going off.

I hope something is terribly wrong with him because he looks terrible out there.

Loved the heart against the best team in the NHL! Most teams would have rolled over after 5-1.

We have deserved better outcome over the last 4 games but we played some tough teams and took them to the end of the game.

We play like this moving forward and wins will stack-up.

Our defense needs to tighten up, we need to skate hard and fast all game long and good things will happen.

We suck so much defensively
we have no choice but to run and gun rn

I just hate it so much how often we dump n chase still to be honest.

We have so many forwards (and like 3 D) capable of carrying the puck across the opposing blueline and yet we consistently have to fight for loose pucks in their corner in order to establish zone presence.

I'd love to see our skill guys be allowed to skill their way into zone entries, and our workhorses working.

Right now everybody is working, and the skill guys are trying to be too cute (Tkachuk between the legs attempt every couple games, Timmy trying to dangle 7 opposing players at once)

Also we desperately need a shot from the point. Teams are boxing us out and making us take long shots knowing our D have a bunch of muffins for shots.

Better than Chabot? Chabot has no pace on the powerplay which completely kills his ability to QB regardless of the goal count.

I'd like for the team to play like this from the get go and not have to rally from behind all the time.

Tough game to lose. Needed Forsberg to make some saves early on
Nah, the biggest problem was the give aways that the Senators made that led to goals. After the score was 5 - 1 they played well, but those costly give aways were too much to overcome and VGK tightened up defensively late in the 3rd period when they had to.

Best coach on the planet
Yet they always make mistakes on all the data site giving him a record of 81-104-24 instead of his actual 200-2-2
Granted. The players do seem to like him. He has some pros. But too many cons
