Nah, as much as I personally wish PD had canned him long ago, I don't expect him to get fired until 15-20 games in if the losing continues.

As a sacrifice to the gods so the GM can retain his.

It's the individual mistakes that are costing us, Sanderson with a misplay allowing Eichel to steal in and get it over to the slot, goal, DeBrincat fans on a pass and gives it away, goal, Stützle mishandled it on the PP and gives it away,(not to mention Chabot/Bath defending) goal,

None of that was coaching or defensive systems. We're gripping sticks too tight and handing them opportunities.

Some of the players are making mistakes which have led to goals against. Some of those mistakes are caused by bad judgement. The coaches need to use those miscues as teaching moments and hold the players accountable if the mistakes continue to be made.
