Maybe. Right now he's looking a bit like another Julius Honka. Needs to get his defensive game down better.
The last one to get picked. The most important question, who gets the car?
They'll probably have to pass it to one of the Canadians, because none of them will be in any shape to drive..The most important question, who gets the car?

This is huge, like when Czechs played the final.Iltalehti Live-broadcast from that place Finns go when they go TORILLE: Suora lähetys: Tältä näyttää torilla! IL-TV on keskellä Leijonien MM-kultajuhlia

That's fair, my point was more that when Canada doesn't send their best it is a ridiculous drop off compared to other nations, and that has been shown in the results when you look at Olympic/World cup finishes vs. finishes at the World Championships. Canada produces a lot of NHLers, but their lower end players can't take over and dominate a game the way that their Olympic squads can. In a single game elimination tournament anything can happen and that's why you see so many different winners in international hockey. On the other hand when Canada sends their best they more often than not win it all because there's just so much skill to overcome a poor performance, hot goaltending, puck luck, etc. that often determines at lot of these games.B Squad? How the **** is this a Finnish B-Squad. Literally none of these players except Kakko in a few years would make an olympic roster. Neither brought their best but who's fault is that, with the way things are going you aren't seeing any Olympics with NHL'ers anyway.
I look at it from the players perspective. They come to Slovakia after a grueling professional hockey season and pull on their national sweater. They play the semi-finals yesterday, then suit up for a back-to-back today against some of the best in the world (forget about Ö team stuff). This is a pretty classy take on it coming from the country that hates to lose. Finns went the hard way, KOd the heavyweights and now they're gonna have a well deserved good time.
The guy from the moomins?Too small for Mörkö.
These are still pro hockey players.
The Americans in 1980 were non pro (amateur) college kids vs one of the strongest teams ever assembled in the entire history of the sport.
This was a professional hockey upset, or an unexpected result. 1980 was a literal miracle pulled off by some random part time hockey kids.

He's the only one to win 1 hahaHyvä Suomi!! Congratulation to Finland!! Obviously they only win the title in the uneven years 1995, 2011, 2019. They shortened the time between the titles always the half:
1995 to 2011 = 16 years
2011 to 2019 = 8 years
Next title may be in 2023?
Jukka Jalonen must be the king of the coaches in Finland now. The only finnish coach who won 2 titles at the whc.
For sure. I've never been invested in any international hockey outside of the WJC and Olympics though so I was more so just having a discussion. Not every discussion is an excuse as I have only actually watched parts of 3 games in this tournament.Excuses are for losers.
