Complete domination at both ends of the ice, and injuries/suspensions are no excuse. Canada was missing two of the best players in the world in Stamkos and Tavares.

Congrats to Sweden on the silver medal. Canada simply elevated their game to a level that no other teams could match when it mattered most.

What are u talking about? Did u forget 2010 when they rushed the ice? There was never a doubt who was going to win this. No reason to go crazy when the result was decided after two periods.

If you want to lick your wounds in peace, do it in private, not on the Olympic Board.

Nothing I said was insulting or incorrect. Canada had injuries to better players but has much better depth.

I doubt Sweden wins even if they had those injured players available to them.

(Edit - I can't spell piece/peace. I'm a moron)

I thought Sweden looked great in the first 10 minutes or so. The pace of the game was incredible. They just got worn out by the size of the Canadians.

Really? Then I'm very strange, I turn 40 on tuesday, and I only get more and more excited from sports and more emotional. But perhaps it's because I'm a woman, men are different? lol!
 
Canada wins gold in USA, Canada, Russia. Canada wins gold in three of the last four Olympics. Canada wins four of the last five best on best tournaments.

Thanks refs! Too bad Canada can't play on big ice.

Yah I was gettin real nervous during the first 10 minutes, I thought it was going to be real hard fought.. But Canada just kept going full tilt, wave after wave, no mistakes.. Incredible, really.. Don't think any team could keep up with that.
